“My wife and I asked Tom Maxwell to replace a built-in wardrobe and include a bookcase to the side of it as an integral feature.
From our first meeting with him we were most impressed by his interest, enthusiasm, knowledge and advice. With his help we arrived at an initial design and then he suggested we consider that and review it at leisure. He provided us with detailed drawings with the full specifications and a price. After consideration we changed some particulars and discussed them with him and he provided revised drawings. We visited him at his workshop so that we could examine and handle the woods that we were thinking of having used for our project and Tom gave us a very full briefing on their nature and qualities. We discussed finishes and he told us what he thought would best suit our needs as we had outlined them to him. He was also very helpful in advising us on handles, fitments etc and it was a delight to work with him and share in his enthusiasm for what he did. After we had confirmed the final design he gave us a definitive price and a timescale.
His execution of the project was first class. The old wardrobe was removed and the new one and its accompanying bookcase were installed with a minimum of fuss and disruption and we are absolutely delighted with the result and feel proud to own such a lovely and unique piece of furniture.
We look forward with pleasurable anticipation to working again with Tom and have already made a proposal to him to tackle a very difficult and complicated piece of cabinet making.
We would recommend Tom and his colleague without reservation.”

Then you were recommended to us by a friend and from our very first meeting with Emma it was clear that not only did you understand our requirements, but your product was clearly superior and your vision was leagues ahead of the competition.
You took what was previously two rooms, forming a very poor working space, and developed a design that integrated the rooms into a single well-structured kitchen.

“We are delighted with our Siematic kitchen and found all aspects of working with Grid 13 a pleasure.
The showroom is aesthetically welcoming but personalised and comfortable. Our initial visit made obvious the range of products and styles available and Natalie understood that I had ideas in mind and then facilitated finding the perfect units, splash-backs and work surfaces.
As quite a large family, we struggled for space in our old kitchen. I had a large dining room that I loved and would never have thought that I could be persuaded to swap the spaces around in favour of a larger kitchen. Natalie's designs and the high quality virtual images made it clear to us that her vision for our kitchen was the right choice.
One of the aspects that we were most pleased with was the quality of builders, electricians, plumbers and kitchen fitters recommended to us. Without exception, they were highly skilled and professional; well-mannered and tidy. Any unavoidable hitches in the process were dealt with straight away and with the minimum amount of fuss.
The kitchen fitted seamlessly into a large room; the MDF frames are perfectly fitted and ensure that the room looks finished and contrasts the modern style of the kitchen with the traditional features of the room which we so desperately wanted to retain.
The units are sturdy but elegant and some of the smaller details such as the plug sockets and cupboard space utilisation are useful and space-economic.
The Siemans appliances are quiet and work brilliantly; I certainly expected to find the transition to an induction hob more challenging after cooking exclusively on an AGA for twelve years!
The site was left tidy but the included cleaning service afterwards was thorough and like all the work, organised at the time we needed it.
I recommend Siematic kitchens and specifically Grid 13 without reservation; a beautiful kitchen and a great experience.”
