“I had worked with a number of contracts prior to selecting Nicklaus Group. There were price bait and switch scams to people just not showing up. There are significantly more disreputable companies than there are reputable so when one is found it is important to share that information. My contact was Brian Wing and he has been phenomenal in walking my wife and I through our remodeling project. Based on prior interactions we did have a very good idea of the changes wanted and had several renderings that provided visuals. The project was discussed in great detail and Brain’s knowledge and experience we refreshing and really brought insight to the finer details that make a significant visual change. We had several exterior walls removed, cistern/patio removed, a covered porch converted to being open with a half barrel ceiling entrance, cedar fencing, new gutters, new cedar deck, new paver patio and house painted. Brian has maintained communication throughout the project and made various changes on the fly that add to the visual value. His pricing was exceptional and his crew is friendly and courteous. “We selected Tony and his team to add a 2-story addition along with a complete remodel of our master bathroom. Having never been through the process of a major construction project, we had no idea what to expect other than it being a dirty, long-lasting endeavor. When Tony left after his initial visit to complete a quote, both my wife and I said "He's the one". He is down to earth, doesn't try to push you to the next best thing after listening to your wants, and delivered a finished project that we had asked for. His teams craftsmanship and attitude towards the project was great. It didn't matter who was working, they always made sure we had questions answered, and never hesitated to offer input when asked on how they would do something - always backing it up with a functional reason why. What I liked most about our experience was that Tony always checked in, and was on site many times. He's not the typical salesman who you see at the beginning and never again. He gets his hands dirty, and was always communicating to let us know what was being done, and what to expect in the next few days/weeks so we understood why they were doing what they were doing. We threw him a curveball in the middle of the project by having a baby. He beat us to the request and said that he would give us some time alone to settle in without construction disruption. Back to the dirty, long lasting endeavor. It didn't matter which team of his was in to work, they did their best to minimize the amount of dust and debris left behind. They always cleaned up after themselves each night, and never left without us being able to function in other areas of our house (water, electric etc.). Given the pandemic and trying to do exterior work in the winter, we have no complaints on how the project proceeded.
