“Nadja was able to walk into our kitchen and dining room and immediately come up with great ideas for re-doing the entire space. She explained her process thoroughly, which was helpful for us novices, and she was always easy to talk with through out the entire process. We wanted a more "transitional" style than her usual modern style, and she was able to help us with design elements that worked for us. We loved that Nadja will share her opinions with you - we wanted her expertise, but she is flexible enough to work around any specific elements you really love. We hope to work with Nadja again on additional projects, and we highly recommend her.”

“Judi at Kitchens Inside Out was fantastic to work with. Great design concepts for a challenging space. We have a large kitchen (1927 original construction) that was probably last renovated in the 1980's. It was taken down to the studs and re-designed so that we could 1) remove the two posts on either side of the island that were really an eye sore, 2) shrink the size of the island so that the space was more comfortable for working at the island, 3) switch around where the sink had been previously to a better orientation with nicer views out the window facing the front of the house, 4) add two additional windows on either side of the La Canche range, 5) add an additional dishwasher and integrated sink over in the bar area of the kitchen and tons more. I really like the Crystal cabinetry that Judi meticulously measured and styled for our kitchen and bar/entertainment side of the kitchen as well. Kitchens are too important to try and design on your own. Best advice is to work with a professional that knows what they are doing, has the resources and knowledge, and that is Kitchens Inside Out.”

“I hired this firm for a very unique job which turned out above my expectations. Ms. Adkins is an outstanding consultant and provided me with options that I did not know about which is a much more professional approach than some of the more "off-the-shelf" companies that I had dealt with in the past. The color choices, materials, and craftsmanship gave my home a much more rich, attractive, and unique look than I have seen anywhere else. I highly recommend this firm.”

“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”

“We worked with Jane at Kozo Designs to redo our kitchen, dining room and fireplaces. The original kitchen was dated, complete with pink marble and neon lights, and did not fit our tastes or the vision for our house. Jane worked closely with us to open up and lighten up the feel of the house, which included removing two walls, adding a window, and including more open-kitchen features. We've lived with this kitchen going on 7 years, and I am always enormously please with how well the kitchen/dining/living room is designed. There are several little details that would not have occurred to me that delight me every time I use them. We have worked or met with other designers, and what we really like about working with Jane is how receptive and understanding she is to your ideas, and her follow-through in executing your vision. That being said, she's also not afraid to give you her honest opinion about things, and more often than not her words are insightful and sensible. As a final bonus, Jane is also really organized and professional, and as a result worked seamlessly with our contractor. I would recommend, and have recommended, Kozo Designs to anyone looking to remodel. She does not disappoint!”

“We remodeled our kitchen and family room. Tania was great to work with on our project. She was very pleasant and easy to work with. She understood our style and provided great recommendations and tips on design and layout as well as different options to help keep us on budget while still maintaining the quality and look we desired. Tania was very responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process and even after the job was complete when I needed to order more flooring material to match with the rest of the house. The products she represents and offers are of great quality and and 1.5 years down the road, we have not had any issues.”

“Sophia came in full of energy and ready to help us with our room expansion project. We thought we just needed her for finishing selections. However she immediately asked the right questions and completely changed our lighting plan. This certainly will transform the entire room. Moving into finishes, Sophia took our preferences and selected a simply wonderful color scheme. She also helped devise a plan to utilize an existing rug by adding a border, saving thousands of dollars over buying a new one. While Sophia certainly can help you select top of the line, she also has the philosophy of using what you have and working it into the design. Highly recommended to help you get the most out of your project.”
