I am currently building a new house from scratch, and rather than spend a small fortune on medium or low quality newly-manufactured goods from a large box store or discount house, I wanted quality goods at an affordable price. Were it not for him, the Youngstown-brand all-steel Mid-Century kitchen cabinets that are now mine would have been tragically rusting away in a landfill somewhere! The cabinets may be over 60 years old, but the mere fact that they were still in use as recently as a few moths ago is proof that they are durable and of quality construction. David and Juliann are clearly very careful when selecting their inventory! Just as importantly, theirs is a very “green” eco-friendly business. In building my house, I want to use as many “re-purposed” elements as possible. In the kitchen, this includes recycled appliances that have been refurbished to adapt them to modern energy needs. So the re-purposed Youngstown metal cabinets will be in good company with my 1953 Kelvinator Foodarama refrigerator and my 1957 O’Keefe & Merritt gas stove! My kitchen will look like something from a 1950s issue of Architectural Digest but still be 100% functional. Too often, being eco-friendly means paying a high premium. But ReFind offers quality “green” products at a very affordable price. In fact, ReFind made the Youngstown cabinets available for far less than I would have paid at a warehouse store for cabinets of similar high quality. Most of all, David is "old school" customer service at its best. He went the extra mile to help me find someone local in San Diego to refinish the cabinets (I am in Palm Springs ... no one here could/would touch them). He even helped me disassemble them and transport them to the powder coater (including loading and unloading). I am always bemoaning how modern businesses not to care about customer satisfaction. David is "old school"! Outstanding customer service!”

“I wanted a new look for my dated kitchen. I needed a new oven and that became the catalyst. Purchasing a built in appliance was much more tricky than I expected After about a half dozen trips to appliance stores and realizing I couldn't do this on my own, I got Hedy's name from a friend. I was impressed with the work Hedy had done in her kitchen, and my friend explained that Hedy takes on smaller jobs--I wasn't looking for a major remodel, and I didn't think a designer would give me the time I needed. It was the best referral I'd ever received. Hedy treated my smaller job like it was just as important as a major kitchen redesign. Hedy had made sales appointments in advance and took me to three appliance stores. We found an oven that was just right for me, but the cabinets needed adjusting to accommodate it. Hedy called contractors and made appointments to meet with them at my house. We consulted and the cabinets came out perfectly. The oven had some flaws. Hedy was right there, making calls and arrangements to to have the oven repaired and then replaced. She said to me, "My work isn't finished until you're satisfied." The new oven is amazing! It's a Viking, and I call it my kitchen warrior. Then she found someone who would stain and paint cabinets. He, too, was terrific. Hedy checked on the work as it was in progress. It came out warm and wonderful. It's pretty in the daytime. It's luxurious at night. You will find that Hedy is a great listener. A great advocate. Reasonably priced--you'll get one estimate and she sticks to it, even if the project has unexpected complications, as was the case with my oven. Principled. Talented. Diligent. “This is my 2nd time working with Sheryl Singer Interiors, I hired her and her team to update my master bathroom and a 2nd full bathroom. She was faced with a total remodel, it was dated, out of style and the master had a giant old jacuzzi tub. She created a new modern layout that greatly improved the lighting, flow and storage. Both bathrooms are so beautifully done and with high quality components and workmanship. She oversees every element of the project and is a perfectionist. I highly recommend for a 2nd time. I worked with Sheryl Singer Interiors and specifically the owner and main designer, Sheryl, on several projects. We started with the kitchen and ended up remodeling and remodeling my entire condo. I didn't think I could afford a designer, but new for sure that I needed one. What's great about this company is that you get the designer, but they handle the remodel as well. They arrange and manage the contractors and Sheryl personally inspects the jobs to make sure they're done to her high standards. She made the entire process so easy and with her connections and knowledge saved me a lot of money in the long run and my place went from a sad 80's condo to a high end, modern design and layout that I'm very proud of. I gets tons of great comments and when I refinanced it really added to the value of my place. I highly recommend their services.”
