“We hired Panhandle Custom Homes to build our new house. We went to them with a plan, and their estimators tailored it to our needs/wants and budget. The building process went smoothly. Weather caused the most setbacks - the summer of 2015 was unusually rainy - but it took just six months to complete the house. When we changed or upgraded features of our plan, the extra charges were reasonable. We were able to do a few things ourselves (like painting) to save some money. A few of the home's features are clear-span engineered beams, LVT floors, tall kitchen cabinets, an oversized garage with eight-foot doors, a second-floor laundry room, a large front porch and back patio, and flat casing windows. Unfortunately we ran out out of nice weather to finish the landscaping, so that fifth star will come this spring.”

“From a sales standpoint the experience was excellent. Price was good. Materials appear to be of good quality,( time will tell ). The work was done in a timely fashion and clean up was excellent. Only two complaints: Floor is slippery ( we had to buy a mat ) and the seat seems to hold water unless dried off.”
