“From the time Mike Ambrose picked up the phone when I called William Jackson till the time I signed off and paid my final bill, he was respectful and thorough. I sat down in his office with his computer aided rendering of my space with a kitchen that would have made me jealous were it not my own! How did he do that? He knew the questions to ask! He and I had a conversation by phone and in person while he measured my kitchen and bathroom spaces. I hardly realized the conversation led him to the information he needed to design the perfect kitchen and bathroom for me. He saw flaws in my original kitchen that I had never noticed, and corrected them in the new plan. I made only two adjustments to the very first kitchen he planned. It was that perfect! “We hired Connor Contracting to do a major remodel of our house including the kitchen, master bath and laundry room. Stacy Connor has the expertise and team of expert subcontractors that brought our ideas to reality including excellent suggestions to make it even better. Stacy gives his projects 110 percent effort with all the integrity anyone could ask for from a General Contractor. One thing I really appreciated was having Stacy's foreman on the job every day, all day to oversee every detail. Our project included removing our tub and shower and building a new large shower with a European Entry (curbless). Since we want to 'age in place' we wanted a bench and grab bars included in the design. It turned out gorgeous with a linear drain, frameless shower (rain) glass and 20x20 Italian porcelain tile. We love it. With a smaller Pella window installed, they were able to install a new longer vanity with two towers that give us a lot more storage than medicine cabinets. The cabinets, countertop and light fixtures (with guidance of designer Jonelle Davis from Davis Design Group) all turned out better than I could have imagined. We love our new kitchen which includes all new cabinets, a larger center island with additional cabinets on the back of the island, an induction cooktop and large pot drawers. The foreman took our old kitchen cabinets and refit them to our laundry room, took out a regular door and installed a pocket door for unhindered access to the utility sink. We have so much more storage in our laundry room now and more than double the countertop area. The project went smoothly, on time and on budget. We have a quality remodel that exceeded our expectations. I still can't believe it is our home and I just smile when I look around. Connor Contracting did a fabulous job.”

“I hired Luxe Showroom Ltd. for two sequential projects: a kitchen remodel and bathroom renovation. I can't say enough about how accomodating they were during both projects. If there was a need for a change or modification they made it happen. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen renovation included replacement of all cabinetry, granite countertops, sink, backsplash, and some appliances and electrical work. They came up with a way to creatively re-use some of the existing cabinets and counters as a craft/work bench in the basement, which required some challenging carpentry work. The bathroom renovation was a complete rip out and reinstall. The designer and craftsmen worked with my 16 year old daughter to come up with a modern yet functional design, with totally custom tilework and innovative lighting. They were totally flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little of the sourcing and work as we wanted. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly and effectively and without controversy.Budget estimates were met, and adjusted fairly if changes were significant. Overall, I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for professional, reliable and creative design and construction services.”
