If you are considering any kind of custom cabinetry, I would highly recommend their work. We created custom closets and a custom desk for our upstairs remodel project and they were able to create a beautiful modern look that fits into our home seamlessly. “An amazing kitchen space was created for us by minimizing a closet and moving back the wall to the dining room. In the photo below you can see the outline of the former island. Gone are the tight corners around the old island and we now have a spacious island great for buffet serving. What was an angular, awkward space, is now one that allows several work spaces and easy movement. Our friends all say "wow what a huge improvement." The design took effort but came out within days of the estimate. Knotty details were worked out efficiently along the way, with excellent coordination of services from floor to paint to blinds. The counsel for an induction cooktop is daily appreciated. Creating a desk space for me and my husband repays us every day. The generous amount of cabinet space, the lovely granite, and the great arrangement, make us happy every time we walk in. We love our kitchen! Thank you to Diane, Christina & Katie, we almost hated to see you finish!”

“Jessica was recommended to me by my realtor when I decided to build a house. She started as my kitchen and bathroom designer, as well as all the flooring and did just an amazing job. The greatest thing is that she could see the vision of how it would all look together, even when I was skeptical. She steered me towards a piece of granite for the kitchen island (4'x8') that I would have never chosen myself. My husband and I are now totally in love with it! The cabinets are a beautiful warm color with a glaze to give them dimension. The master bath has 2 different colors of tile and a granite vanity top that looks amazing, as well. I would recommend Jessica Curry for any project, she is so personable and organized and does an outstanding job.”

“We unfortunately had a pipe burst during the extreme low temperatures at the end of January, and essentially had to have most of our dining room and living room dismantled and put back together. The job entailed removal of cabinets/ sink/countertops, removal of molded/ wet drywall, installation of proper insulation per permitting requirements, installation of drywall, painting, and resetting everything back in place. (We also added in a tile backsplash as well). Brian took care of the project from start to finish answering questions along the way, and adding on odd jobs as the project required. My husband and I work in property Management and encounter a lot of vendors... what was most impressive about Brian is his attention to detail, how well he kept the site even while working, his clean-up, and dependability. I was recently talking to one of our neighbors who had a pipe burst on the same day as ours, and their construction had not even began by the time ours was nearing the end. That is because whenever Brian said he would come, he did... he worked efficiently through the project so that a construction that some general contractors would have stretched out 3 months, he completed in 2 weeks which included the permit process. I would definitely recommend Hughes to anyone looking for general contracting work. Their excellent customer service, professionalism, presentation, and reliability all made a stressful time go as smooth as possible.”

“We had Matt work on our basement by building shelving for 3 walls, install rails & stiles wood paneling, and tile our basement floor. He did a beautiful job! We appreciated his honesty and he was correct on how long it would take him to complete our project (5 weeks). His pricing was very fair even when we added on some unexpected work. Matt showed his expertise in dealing with some trickier areas of our project and came up with great solutions. His work and attention to detail was terrific!
