“We hired Jackie to make a very ugly back yard into a space we would love and she did. She used her expertise to tackle a project with multiple grading and structural issues. Besides having strong creative talents, she also is extremely flexible and accomodating to work with, making changes as needed and being sensitive to the clients concerns (financial and otherwise) while always keeping an eye towards the integrity of her project. She develops very detailed plans , picks contractors that she respects and follows the project through to completion remaining dedicated to the needs of her clients even in areas that should/might be the contractors. We are thrilled with our new living space and highly recommend Jacalyn Gould as a Landscape Architect.”

“Rob and his team were at my home over the course of two seasons, installing an incredible landscape in both the front and back of my property. It's not often you can say it was a pleasure having a work crew at your house, but my boys, my dog and I all enjoyed having Gilmore Landscape Architecture on site. They are intelligent, kind, respectful, creative and talented individuals. The exterior of my home was completely transformed; Rob's expertise in terrain and site planning was fundamental to creating a stunning final result. He made sense of a plot that was uneven and mostly covered in cracked pavement. It now instead features a kitchen garden, native trees and plantings, a reflecting pond, meditation rock garden, as well as a driveable grass paver driveway and beautiful gabion rock walls with wood bench toppers. --Allison TC”

“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. “Andrea did the design, execution and ongoing maintenance of a master landscape plan for my Cambridge residence. The work was done on-time, on-budget and to a high degree of quality. The ongoing follow-up and maintenance has also been spectacular. In particular, I think Andrea is good at: 1. Collaboration: The final design was a combination of her ideas and my ideas. She had no problems listening and incorporating my thoughts. 2. Project Management: She is an on-time, on-budget type of person who proactively communicates what is going to happen when. I have never worked with a contractor/landscaper who is this good. 3. Great team: The people she assembled to do the work were top notch. All locals with great knowledge of the area (two of the contractors actually grew up in my neighborhood) as well as their craft. I would recommend Andrea to anyone who is serious about getting a good job done well.”

“Nilton and the crew were great. I had switched over a new guy this summer to help to start his business. Nilton was a pure pro when I told. As time went on the new service struggled finding workers and services I needed in May couldn't be done until August. Curbs to the rescue. I sent Nilton a text on Saturday , he respond with a visit on Monday and a quote on Tuesday. Started work the following Monday and by the end of the week --- I had trimmings removed (a lot) , areas cleared and prep for bed mulching and edging to spread 20 cubic feet of mulch - that's correct 2 truckloads. Couldn't be happier.”

“We redid our entire landscaping after a major house renovation: we removed a clutter of fences and overgrown trees to replace with simple basic plantings. Created a courtyard in front of the house with a thyme grass, lavender and crab apple trees. Created a side entrance yard with evergreens. Work was done taking into account our budget. Neighbors love the courtyard and side yard. We get a lot of positive comments.”
