“Redid both front and back yard vegetation to be drought tolerant. No grass in front at all. Parkway and yard all trees and plants from New Zealand. Wonderful to work with and after a few years the yards are all grown in and many compliments given. Nancy is easy to work with and very reasonable.”

“We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

“Beth provided a wonderful landscape design and creation program for our home. Taking our tastes, budget and timing into account, she came up with designs that were creative and realistic. She oversaw the job from beginning to end and was always available to answer questions or to help make last minute changes without a problem. Everything that was supposed to be done was completed as imagined and on schedule. Beth was not only exceptionally professional and ethical, but very enjoyable to work with. “I am currently working with Stephen Gabor and The Gabor Design Group on a backyard landscape and home add on project. Stephen and his team are extremely professional, organized and responsive. I am in love with the work they have done at my home so far and cannot wait for the finished product. As a homeowner since 1999, I have been through multiple renovations and worked with several contractors and have never had a good experience until the Gabor Design Group. Exceeded all of my expectations!!”

“We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“I absolutely love Suzanne. She took a boring front yard of grass and turned it into a super cool, water conscious mosaic! Seriously, neighbors stop and compliment the yard. Of course I take all the credit but it was really Suzanne who had the vision and got it done. She's thrifty, communicates well and handles the installation. She's managed my front, side and back yards and I love them all. Highly recommend.”

“Aaron's team did a fantastic job transforming our muddy, uncomfortable backyard into an inviting space we truly enjoy. The rear of our property sits under a dense canopy and was unusable for our daughter and dog. The design Aaron & Hadiza envisioned met all our needs, providing multiple seating areas and blending the existing architecture with new elements, all while using a naturalistic but low maintenance planting scheme. We now have a beautiful, modern and safe space for our daughter to play and comfortably entertain 20 guests. The construction process went smoothly. The crew was efficient and used high quality materials while staying within budget. When labor costs exceeded the budget, there was open communication and we were able to find a middle ground. “I have used Isabel now on two projects. The first was a landscaping design for a Custom Home in Beverly Hills and the second was a Condominium Planter Re-design. Both projects turned out very well and I would recommend Isabel to anyone looking to create a landscape plan for anything from a high end custom estate home to a family style condo project. She is professional, easy to work with, and has good design instincts about each project she works on. She also is mindful of staying within a budget and the individual spending limits of her clients.”
