“Dave and his team were excellent. In our initial meeting, Dave was respectful and knowledgable, really listening to what we wanted. His detailed quote hit all the various options we asked for and included sample photos. Once the build started, his team was fast, clean, and courteous. We live on a busy street with many involved neighbors and everyone commented to me after how professional the team was. Along the way we made slight changes to the project which Dave was flexible to accomodate. The final product was better than we imagined and we're already talking future projects. Highly recommend!!”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. I am happy to write this review because I have been recommending her to my clients and to my friends who have been admiring her work as well.”

“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Description Of Work: The Narrow Lane, through Ron Goode, it's owner/operator and his team, performed various services for us, including 3 new paver walkways with cobblestone lining them, a new driveway, new sod in the front, new side and back lawns, new plantings, new retaining walls, two tree removals, large overgrown shrub removals, planting of several new trees and other plants, as well as fertilizing, leaf removal/Spring cleanup and some general landscape maintenance. Comments: It went great! Our main design and construction work required every part of our yard to be torn up, excavated, or otherwise touched with a shovel, mini-excavator, or other tool/piece of machinery and Ron worked hard to ensure that the disruptions to my family were minimal. He also listened to each request, made recommendations based on our budget, worked hard to get the estimate within our budget, and has produced a product that every neighbor has complemented! We love how it all turned out and have had several people ask if it is a new house! I highly recommend The Narrow Lane for not only landscape design and construction, but also maintenance. Ron will work hard to ensure that he gives you exactly what you want in a budget you can be happy with.”

“We hired them to redesign/build a pool, sport court and fireplace. Their attention to detail went beyond our expectation. They were always available to meet, listened to our concerns, and were accurate with meeting deadlines. They are professional group that takes pride in their finished product. “Rob and his team were at my home over the course of two seasons, installing an incredible landscape in both the front and back of my property. It's not often you can say it was a pleasure having a work crew at your house, but my boys, my dog and I all enjoyed having Gilmore Landscape Architecture on site. They are intelligent, kind, respectful, creative and talented individuals. The exterior of my home was completely transformed; Rob's expertise in terrain and site planning was fundamental to creating a stunning final result. He made sense of a plot that was uneven and mostly covered in cracked pavement. It now instead features a kitchen garden, native trees and plantings, a reflecting pond, meditation rock garden, as well as a driveable grass paver driveway and beautiful gabion rock walls with wood bench toppers. --Allison TC”
