“Debbie Friedman came to our home, listened to our unusual vision for a limited maintenance tropical garden in the DC metro area, researched the plants, provided the design, accommodated our critiques (didn't like certain scents, didn't want prickly leaves), updated design, provided recommendations for contractors, and suggestions for locations to purchase plants to keep costs down. I recommend her highly and would use her again in the future.”

I have an interior design business and I have referred clients to Amy's Garden Design services who have been extremely pleased with the professionalism, the creativity of the designs, the flexibility of the options and budgets with which they are able to work with, and most importantly work the quality, beauty and value of the garden work including the design of both hard and soft scapes. Another example of their professionalism and superior quality and service they have consistently provided was with the Catonsville's Chamber of Commerce who has contracted with Amy's Garden Design for the past few years to design, plant and maintain all of the planters throughout downtown thoroughfare. In addition, Amy's Garden Design offers a wide array of workshops related to gardening and plant related. I had the pleasure of participating in a workshop in which I lwft with an exquisite, customized, large indoor terrarium that has been thriving for several months.”

She was very thorough in her discussions with us, taking the time to learn about what we were looking for in terms of style, appearance, cost, and up-keep. She also happily designed to meet our jurisdiction's storm-water requirements related to the number, type, and spacing of trees. She easy to work with and we love the plan she designed.
