“We're original owners of a "semi-custom" home built in the early 90's. For nearly 20 years we had a cookie-cutter front yard -- bluegrass, one tree, builder front porch. In 2012 -- the hottest summer on record for the Denver area -- we decided to break the mold in the neighborhood and xeriscape the yard. Phil and Designscapes came highly recommended and we now see why. Our yard is no longer cookie-cutter or boring in any way! New driveway, redesigned front porch that is safer and easier to navigate, xeriscape groundcovers that are more beautiful than bluegrass now provide a lovely welcoming entrance to our home. We've added a water feature and seating this summer, along with pots full of flowering annuals. As expected, we had a few plants that didn't make it through the winter, but they were promptly replaced under Designscapes' warranty this summer. I can't recommend a company more highly. I'm sure they aren't the least expensive. I am sure they produced the highest value for our money and I can't wait to do the back yard!”

“I dreamed of a beautiful mountain retreat in my backyard for years. Environmental Design helped my dream come true and more. I now have a incredible flag stone sitting area surrounded by boulders, timber and trees. The elevated berms give my yard demension. The trees and shrubs give me the privacy I wanted. The are professional, and honest. They didn't leave until it was just the way I wanted it. Love them.”

JB was extremely detail orientated with his computer design and the final product looked exactly as planned. “We wanted the landscape for our new house to be water frugal and low maintenance but also lush and beautiful. Ivy Street Design proposed several alternatives and devised a plan that met our requirements. Wendy and her staff know what plants can thrive in Denver's climate and have extensive experience working with landscape contractors. They helped us select a contractor and oversaw the contractor's work. During the first summer, Wendy frequently checked the plants' growth. One year later, Wendy was back on the job to ensure the warranty work was done to replace plants that had failed. Overall, Ivy Street Design met the deadlines and budget and demonstrated a high level of expertise. The resulting landscape is unusual and beautiful. We enjoy it every day.”
