“We were fortunate to have Katie Cool redesign the landscape in our backyard two years ago. We continue to love her design and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the landscape as it has matured. So when we decided to rid our front yard of its lawn and use drought tolerant landscaping, we knew who to call. Katie once again proved to be just the right choice for the job. She is a creative, knowledgable and responsive professional. After listening to our particular needs and desires she created a unique design that exceeded our expectations. She also designed a privacy panel for the front porch using vintage glass blocks that she was able to find. The result is a cool design that looks original to our Midcentury Modern house. We love it. She is particularly effective working with the contractors during installation. She is on site for all critical decisions and manages the project to completion to ensure that her design is implemented according to her vision and our satisfaction. This works extremely well. After the job is completed, she follows up with visits to check on the landscaping and problem solve any issues. We are now left with the unfortunate realization that we have run out of yard space for Katie to transform and we will miss working with her. She is quite simply the best.”

“I have had the pleasure on several occasions to collaborate with Amanda and Sydney with regards to irrigating their beautiful native designs. They ladies are extremely creative and provide innovative budget oriented solutions for their clients. Their hands on approach brings a high quality level of service to their clients which is often times lost in professional services today. Josh and his crew posses a wide range of skill sets that allow them to execute beautiful projects, on time, with amazing detail. Josh's design skills are exceptional; every project I have seen is stunning. His ability to move between styles proves his dedication to his craft. He does not do the same thing over and over again like so many designers do. All of his work is unique and well thought. I would like point out the professionalism of his crew as well. The guys are "on it". They are engaged, aware and have always had a great attitude when faced with less than exciting situations. Great Company!”

“Our original plan was to meet with Kathryn and just pick her brain. Several hours later she had redesigned our entire front and side yard. We were bowled over with her professional demeanor, attention to detail and wonderful laugh. She listened to what we wanted, paid attention to our style and came up with a plan that was not only beautiful on its own but will absolutely highlight our home's unique architecture (its a 1914 Craftsman). Later when we saw some of the other more impressive projects that she had done we realized how talented she is. There is nothing she can't do! The real proof in the pudding was when we went to a local nursery to pick up our plants. Upon hearing that Kathryn was our designer the employee sighed and said "I wish I had a Kathryn Rue designed yard". Now that's an endorsement.”

“Carlos and his amazing team did a full remodel of our backyard including installation of a pool, deck, pergola, outdoor kitchen, fencing, retaining wall and more. It was our dream that we planned for a few years and Carlos and his team did an amazing job. I couldn't give Carlos and his team higher praises. They were incredibly professional, meticulous and even months after our project has been completed have made themselves available to help with any questions or concerns or fix any small detail that we can come up with. I've heard horror stories from many friends doing backyard renovations and I can honestly say that we had no issues. I would highly recommend Carlos and QS Construction for any exterior construction and landscaping needs.”
