“We appointed Pehrsson Scott to carry out the design and the construction of our town garden in Hertfordshire. We found Henry and the team to be very responsive and engaging at all times. They listened to our brief and involved us in the design process ensuring we understood every detail and were happy with the design before signing off each stage. They gave us a clear understanding of the costs from the outset and were always approachable and pleasant to deal with once the work began. “The design and work was carried out in a professional and efficient manner in all aspects of the project, we had our kitchen done in January and the garden in February, our challenge was "The kitchen looks excellent, lets hope you can do they same with the garden, so no pressure", they succeeded! There was a lot of groundwork to be done, many trees to be removed, ground to be levelled, water feature etc, and we think the final result of the project in photographs shows the finished article, just some sun required now to thoroughly enjoy the results. The installation guys were hit with rain, snow, sun basically all that the English climate could through at them and they just carried on regardless. Thanks!”

As soon as we met Zane we had confidence that he could help us. The work done has given us a great base from which we will now be able to make our garden into something really lovely. “Aralia designed and built our small garden, transforming the ragged mish-mash of unplanned year-on-year additions into a more modern space with two water features and plenty of room to sit at various points to admire the planting and the design. Height is achieved through pleached hornbeams, black bamboo (which grows up rather than out) and a crab apple. The illusion of greater space in what is a small garden is provided by the rill and pond and pathways. Distinct planted areas now lead the eye to the flowers and plants. All completed with the minimum fuss and in good time.”

“Paul possesses a depth of knowledge, a passion and an eye for detail that is second to none. He took our plot (ugly patio, laid to lawn, patchy and moss ridden) and transformed it into a thing of beauty which takes my breath away daily. He listened carefully to our aspirations and made some detailed notes which he then turned into a design upon which a detailed landscape and planting plan was developed for the landscaping team. Paul was onsite regularly throughout the 3 week project and carried out all of the planting himself. He even popped back to meet with us after completion to hand over and give us all the information and tips we need to maintain our new 'living room'. We are already using it more. The different layers and textures integrate to give a feeling of space and tranquility we never had before. The lighting casts shadows on the house and highlights our feature trees and shrubs which we look forward to watching grow. I've always lived my life at 100mph and Paul has given me something I've never had before; a space to relax and a hobby that I can grow into that brings a new element to my life. I whole-heartedly recommend Paul to anyone considering a garden project.”

“The site was not very promising, with steep slopes and a lot of shade from a large yew tree, yet Jacqui created a beautiful garden,with imaginative walls and other features. She also listened to our request for as much colour as possible throughout the year. The result has been much admired and is getting better each year as the plants develop. Her plan was also very practical and ensured that the plants did not slide down the steep slopes despite some very wet winters. As a result, they are now firmly established.”
