“As a distributor of landscape equipment and products, we are in a different category from most of the people and businesses Horizon serves as we are a vendor resource for Horizon Landscape Services. Even as a provider, we like to be treated professionally and Horizon does just that. We have observed some of their their client interactions and have drawn conclusions from them. The qualities that we admire in this company are the same that an end user would appreciate: attention to detail, prompt responses, courteousness, quality workpersonship (we are PC!), and professionalism. “I can't say enough about Tilly. I am an interior designer that works with some of the most high end landscape design firms in Chicago. This project was on a tight budget so decided to give Tilly a try. We were a little nervous because Tilly was a fraction of some of the other prices, but I can easily say they do it all with just as much thought and care as those other guys. Our designer Stephen really got to know our needs and his thoughtful design clearly reflected that. I couldn't get over the quality of the final design materials we ended up with at the end of the process. Plants, hardscape, and a detailed plan and information on it all. Chicago is not an easy climate for landscaping and we were given only plants that thrived in our space and not someone is California's. The experience was a steal and triple the value of what you pay - I can't wait to use Tilly again! - Sara”

“Robert Welsh of Westover Landscape has a wonderful sense of aesthetics, and created a garden design for us that is absolutely beautiful. His designs are not the usual "bushes lined up against the house" and he thought about how the garden changes through the season, which means every month brings a new color and some lovely surprises. His staff are terrific, very professional and easy to work with. Every subcontractor Robert brought in on this job also met the same high standards. We are very happy with our gorgeous garden.”

“Bryan Quinn of One Nature advised me on the planning and design of a wetland improvement project funded through the Natural Resources Conservation Service involving development of two ponds and restoration of native habitats within the surrounding areas comprising about 15 acres.. After evaluating site conditions and laying out an overall conceptual plan for habitat zones, nature trails and observation points, he prepared a detailed plan and specs for planting groves of trees, site maintenance and circulation for areas immediately surrounding the ponds as well as supervision of site work. The work went quickly, on schedule and Mr. Quinn was very professional, generous with time and paid attention to detail, and within budget.”

“Steve from Land Design Studio Inc designed a complete overahaul to my back yard including; pool area landscaping/patio, new yard, extensive landscape plantings throughout, rock walls, irrigation, fencing, integration of a natural stream into the landscape, excavation, and drainage. He was very creative and inclusive in the design aspect, and accurate in terms of both budget and schedule. Steve is very professional and thorough from concept to completion to follow up on any necessary day 2 items. He is very knowledgeable and will proactively reccommend a variety of options to contend with unforseen circumstances that naturally arise in large scale projects Most importantly Steve is an excellent Project Manager handling procurement and coordination of all materials and sub-contractors to ensure project is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with my expectations. I highly reccommend Steve Griggs and Land Design Studios.”

“Magic Landscaping was a pleasure to deal with. They were courteous, timely, reasonable and professional. The job was completed with in the quoted budget. I had a lawn installed around a new addition that required significant grading. Shrubs were installed around the foundation. A brick patio was created a long with a flagstone walk. I highly recommend Drew and his entire staff.”
