“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

“Richard is a very professional personable and well versed landscape artist! I have used Richard to landscape my home, my courtyard, and have recommended his services to my neighbor(used Richard) and friends! Richard has extensive knowlege of perenials, bushes, trees, soil, top dressings, and how best to feature each plant in the garden! He has a very high work ethic and guarantees his work and his plants! Richard will often stop by to check on the plants to see how they are doing and if there is a better location in the garden for the plant, he will replant! Richard's work ethic is superb, and his workers also! Don't hesitate to contact him and see the magic he can perform in your garden for all season color! “We hired Nancy King and her company Seventy Acres to design and build our patio and outdoor areas for our transitional modern farmhouse in Litchfield County, Ct. Her artistry can be seen on her Houzz site. She did a great job, was a pleasure to work with all throughout the process. Her assessment and recos for sub-contractors were excellent. Nancy has a wonderful personality, is very organized and really helped bring our unified vision to completion. Our house is a delight to behold...we truly enjoy all the beautification she brought to it. Her husband Charles is a great guy, super creative also, and took the wonderful photographs.”

“Kathy designed plantings for the front exterior of my home and selected a fencing style and fence color for a very large fence that sits on top of a stone wall and runs the front perimeter of our property. We have had so many nice compliments on the fence over the years that I have lost count and her landscape design is also beautiful. Kathy is responsive, professional and pleasant to work with and I recommend her highly and without reservation.”

“Ransom and Ryan with R Design are true design professionals. Landscape design can be done in a loose freehand way or can be done by professionals; there is a huge difference. R Design has a team of Landscape Architects who don't just create exterior spaces, but truly design spaces that tailor the look and function to the desires of the owners and architects. I've worked with Ransom and Ryan on projects from the Caribbean to communities throughout Colorado. I have a strong working relationship with R Design and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great team of Landscape Architects. Although they can design to the specifics of any project aesthetic, they are some of the best when it comes to site planning and modern landscape design.”

“Karen has guided three garden projects for us and she is always a pleasure to work with. She was keen to understand my needs, desires and goals and then brought thoughtful, creative ideas to layer on. She respects the land and the context of each project, and her proposal are well considered. But she is open and will adjust and refine with my input to provide the ideal plan. Then, she oversees the execution and ensures the best-quality work is delivered.r The latest project was a 20x20 encloses vegetable garden using feeding troughs for raised beds. It is highly functional and beautiful in all seasons. Not a great pic attached, but you can see how the garden keeps the deer out!”
