“We completed our custom home in February of 2018 and our favorite part is of the landscaping. Drew was able to create a beautiful and cohesive design that incorporated all of the areas we wanted without compromising the flow of our yard. Our home has been published three different times and the backyard is always at the for front, as our home wraps around the pool and outdoor space. Even though it's been five years since our home was completed the design is still current and timeless. And, he monitored the contractor during implementation which was a big help. Ray took personal pride in every detail. He has a passion for quality and settled for nothing less that perfection. It was Fred's vision to use flagstone walks to connect the spa with the dining area and hilltop, creating garden spaces he filled with beautiful Mediterranean style plants. “I just bought a house in the high desert and I called Ketti for a consultation, I wasn't sure if she would know about how to work in the desert climate but her ideas were amazing. She knows so much about plants and she helped me find the right plants that would grow in my area. Ketti's work is so creative I don't think any other designer would think of the things she does. For example my backyard was surrounded by a pinkish block wall. She suggested I paint the brick a natural plant enhancing brown,and it was amazing how much that small change made in the area. I know with her continuing consultation my yard is becomeing something out of a fairytale, I'll be stepping out into a art-gallery of nature and artistic stone paths that will uplift my soul on a daily basis.”

“We moved into an existing home with a large lot (0.5 acres) that was all grass and full of potential. We interviewed and received concept sketches from several landscape architects and ultimately selected Dale Waldo. While Dale's concept sketches were not that differentiated from others in terms of the rough layout of the elements we wanted, his attention to smallest of details was quite differentiated. He was very attentive to views from within the house & from the yard, plants & soils, lighting, finish materials, clean lines, furnishings, etc. He also demonstrated a unique ability to really listen and adapt his design to what we wanted. So many landscape architects just do the same style of design each time and lack breadth in design. Dale was also very helpful in the bid process making sure we got the most for our money - we probably saved 20-30% with his help in the bid process and selecting the right high quality contractors. We ended up using 4 different contractors (pool, hardscape, softscape & lighting) to get the right value, and Dale was very helpful in coordinating and managing the project through completion - not without hiccups here and there, but that is expected. We completed our yard in record time to swim of the 4th of July. I would hire Dale again in a heartbeat. He is a good person and demonstrated the highest integrity at multiple points in the process.”
