“I hired Diane Squire to design my backyard/spa area, which was a particularly awkward and small area to work with. She did a fantastic job and was a pleasure to work with. She imaged it so I could see how it would look from inside my hot tub and other vantage points so I could create just the atmosphere I wanted. Her fee was very reasonable and she didn't try to make the job more than it needed to be. A perfect experience!”

“From the Ground Up helped me take advantage of the LADWP Turf Rebate program and transform my boring, water guzzling lawn, into a beautiful escape from urban life! Replacing the lawn with a combination of DG pathways, beds full of hardy and water wise California natives, and peaceful sitting areas. Jackie was so knowledgeable and after listening to our ideas, provided plenty of options and suggestions. She helped with getting quotes for drip irrigation and advised on the pros and cons of each quote. Jackie also went above and beyond to make sure that the plants we used would work in the setting, given shade and sun limitations, and thoughtfully supervised the installation. We couldn't be happier.”

“Di Larson did our front yard landscaping 8 years ago and she was professional and creative. I enjoyed working with her and have recommended her on more then several occasions. She has also consulted on our rear courtyard and backyard which we have used her suggestions as well. You will find her ideas and plans current with today's market and especially in the area of drought tolerant landscape. She met her deadline and the end results we were extremely pleased with.”

“We hired Meribeth to design and install a new garden for our remodeled home. The garden was set within a wall of hedges. She created a truly beautiful area with a dry river of stone, a DG pathway to a sitting area, plants that flourish year round, a drip system and lighting on a photocell. The result is just magical.”
