“Following the recommendation of a friend, I hired Stephanie Wondolleck and her design firm, SW Design, for a much-needed and long-delayed landscaping project for the front of our home in Marin County, California. Stephanie was very good at figuring out what we would like (given our tastes and cost constraints), even though we were not very sure what we wanted. She did everything she said she would do, including using only deer-resistant plants and bringing the project in on budget and on-time. Meeting the deadlines required careful coordination of various contractors, at which she was very adept. Stephanie is professional, creative, thoughtful--and a pleasure to work with. We would (will) happily and confidently hire her and SW Design again.”

“I just completed a remodel of my pool and landscaping with the Alder Group, and simply stated I could not be happier. From the first meeting until the project was completed, Don always looked for ways to improve the project and at the same time ways to minimize the cost of the project. His keen eye for design saw needed simple improvements that were relatively inexpensive but had a massive effect on the overall beauty of the project. Perhaps most importantly when the manufacturer delivered the wrong custom coping, and I worried that we would not be able to meet the deadline of a large party that was planned for my backyard; Don found a way to resolve the issue and keep the job on schedule. Don is truly one of the good guys.”

“Patrick worked with us a complete landscape project for our new home on 2 acres, covering various areas including, landscape, hardscape, pool area, plantings, vegetable garden, fencing, and other areas. He is easy to work with, knowledgeable, thorough, and follows up. We appreciated his designs and taste, and equally appreciated his overall practical approach to our project. While he was attentive to our needs (over the course of about 2 years) we also found he billed us fairly and used his time efficiently. We would highly recommend him.”

“"It was such a pleasure to work with Christian. He took my simple idea for some garden beds and turned our backyard into a garden sanctuary! He maximized the available space including a steep hillside. I not only have a beautiful garden full of edible plants but the layout is so functional. I have more than enough room for the vegetables beds and also have a well-designed chicken coop and run. In addition, he has a wonderful aesthetic. He took into consideration the view from our kitchen down the entire length of the house out through a laundry room window. Now when we look out, instead of a hillside full of ivy, we see a landscaped slope, a lovely stone birdbath and a lemon tree above it. Christian will help you every step of the way if you need that kind of assistance or he can just give you a beautiful plan and you can take it from there. He's very attentive and has excellent follow-through. I would highly recommend him!"”

“Neli, Stan, Todd, and others at Interactive Landscapes are fantastic. Interactive completely remodeled our front and back yards, installed a large Batu (wood) deck, a hot tub, a BBQ island with built-in plumbing and gas, artificial grass field, concrete and tiles, and beautiful landscaping/plants, automated drip and spray irrigation, and automated and manual LED lighting. They had great and tasteful ideas provided 3D, color/textured computer drawings to help us visualize the design. They suggested strategies to save money on the design. They led and personally worked on every detail. They instantly respond to questions verbally, in text, or email. We have put a lot of work on our house and hired more than 15 contractors for a large amount of work inside and outside. Interactive Landscapes is by far the best contractor with which i have ever worked. Their prices are highly competitive and their quality is just top notch.--the best i have seen. I cannot say enough. They can do it all.”

“The work done by Patrick and his team at Equinox Landscape brightens every single day of my life. I love the design, almost entirely suggested by Patrick. I love the quality of the materials and the wokrmanship. We had to modify the project a couple of times while in progress: costs went up too fast once we realized how hard it was to do any digging into the hillside. I also realized I wanted more of a finished look in one area than I had previously indicated. A drought set in and I became concerned about water rationing making it impossible to keep all the projected trees alive. A bobcat attacked my chickens and I changed the design for the coop. So it was an adventure, and in the end there were many changes. The end result though, makes me smile every day. Please work closely with the team to make sure the cost does not go over budget, but keep in mind that this is not just about how everything looks, but also how meaningful it is to you in the end.”

“Positively excellent! We would highly recommend David Thorne. David's professional and artist talents are unsurpassed! He is knowledgeable and very easy to work with and down right likable. He communicates his ideas clearly, and listened to our input as well. His entire team was a pleasure to work with in planning our extensive landscape plan. The landscaping and hardscape enhanced the house to perfection. David was keenly aware of the architecture and successfully made a plan to enhance every aspect of our new home. David worked closely with us to ensure we were entirely happy with his design and took a personal interest in many aspects of the actual planting and execution of his plan. Two years later, the garden is thriving all the way around the house, looks spectacular and each season continues to delight us. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in the types of plantings and trees has brought much joy to the property. David has a winning team and we would highly recommend him.”
