“Susan did a great job redesigning the landscaping and entrance to the front of our home. Her new layout for the front walkway is brilliant. Her choice of materials for the deck railing and paving are superb. The shrubs and plants are lovely. We particularly like that they bloom at different times of the year.”

“I love Karen's work! She designed a beautiful backyard patio and outdoor space for my house in 2007 and we continue to enjoy it every season. Karen combined blue stone with brick pavers to create a unique design for the patio that included garden spaces for both flowers and vegetables. She also took the need for shade into account and made space for two beautiful cherry trees. A week after the work was done (on time and at cost), we hosted a backyard wedding for a family member-it was a wonderful day which included many compliments about our beautiful backyard. I highly recommend Karen Arent Landscape Architects!”

“Michael is totally professional. The first thing he did is walk the property and visualize what's possible. He is a wonderful listener and when we expressed our ideas he skillfully asked questions and helped us develop our thoughts. All the while he made his own suggestions but allowed us the space to run with our own. The process of doing the plan and work was excellent.His contractors and his interaction with all the professionals working on our project - it was extensive and complex with water features, landscape both soft and hard, electrics and engineered walls - was easy and he coordinated the people and order of events to complete the work seamlessly. We are more than pleased with the outcome and enjoy the results everyday. Those we've referred to Michael have had the same experience. We couldn't give him a higher recommendation and have told those we know they owe it to themselves to at least have an initial meeting with him as they develop their plans.”
