“Elen designed a plan for a small plot that was effective at utilizing the existing plants, giving a simple and elegant finish to a previously haphazard garden. in addition, the planting plan she provided solved the problem of a very difficult water logged clay soil. She is full of knowledge and methodical in her approach.”

“We just didn't know what to do with the small, neglected garden of our new house. But Jo did. She listened attentively to our ideas, then made exciting and quite daring suggestions that really stretched our imaginations, and encouraged us to be brave enough to go beyond the ordinary. The result is a stunning riverside garden that regularly stops passers-by in their tracks. Jo's detailed and professional illustrations enabled us to visualise the new garden. Her knowledge of plants has given us a garden full of interest which, with the clever use of different levels and textures, looks much bigger then it is. And she really cares about the gardens she creates. Nine months after the garden was finished, when Jo heard that the Thames had flooded, she contacted us and generously offered her help with any repairs and replanting needed. But inspite of two weeks under water, we didn't lose any plants or suffer any damage. Jo's clever design and planting (flood resilience was part of the brief) gave us a garden that withstood the floods and came back looking even better in it's second year. Jo was an absolute pleasure to work with.”

“Amy created a garden about 5 years ago for our new house in the country on a difficult sloping site. She is the perfect designer, listening to the client and producing both design and planting plans that complement the house and incorporate the client's thoughts. The planting has taken account of the soil and site conditions and continues to thrive. The garden has evolved over the 5 years and Amy continues to give advice where needed and encouragement where plants mis-behave. Amy is adaptable, professional and a delight to work with. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”

“Wild to Wonderful, run by Cathy Cornish, is an excellent garden design company. I used them for a major project in 2008 and was very happy and am using them again now for our current project. Cathy is a designer who listens carefully to her client's requirements and then turns them into well presented briefs to suit the level of budget available. Cathy is also a great gardener and pops in twice a year to help with major prunings etc.”

“I asked Briony from Bee's Gardens to help me create a town garden from scratch. I had a good idea of the kind of design I wanted but needed someone to create a working technical landscape plan for the builders. With her designers eye Briony took my ideas and sympathetically altered them to come up with a brief which suited and enhanced the space much more than the original sketch. I found it very difficult to envisage a garden in a space where nothing existed and the 3D plans were a huge help in making everything come alive. I didn't need a planting plan but Briony's beautiful mood boards were an inspiration which fed into the final plant and tree choices. We have been delighted with the garden as it has settled in this summer and the design has been much admired. I never thought the project would turn out so well.”

“My husband and I had been thinking about investing in our front and back garden for some time. Some close friends of ours had recently finished work on their garden space so we went to visit them in May last year to see their new space, we were so impressed with the transformation we became excited and more determined to change our own garden which at the time looked empty, disorganised, cluttered and uninspiring. We wanted a space which extended our home where we could relax and unwind during the summer months, something low-maintenance and modern in style. After looking at the website we contacted Rich Green Gardens and arranged for Rich to visit us for an informal chat and to see our garden. We discussed ideas and he brought along his portfolio and we looked at images we really liked on the RichGreenGardens pinterest and instagram sites. From there Rich went away with our favourite ideas, put them into designs and returned the following week. We chose one we felt happy with, discussed costs and agreed a plan. 2 months later the garden was complete and we are so happy with the result, it totally changed our summer and we now enjoy the space which feels like an additional room to our home, we've had a couple of barbecues over the summer and everyone has complimented how cool the garden is. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Rich Green Gardens for creativity, design and professionalism. Great work!”

“I've known Ana for two years, since I went looking for a garden designer/expert to tackle a community project (a huge double green wall to the entrance of Ancastle Green, RG9 1TR). She was one of three companies that provided me with a quote and design, and she's the one I chose. She 'got' what I was trying to achieve straight away, and had already created a smaller scale green wall in a nearby village, so I was able to see the results. The community project is still in its early stages due to local red tape, but I'm hopeful she'll be able to complete this at some point in the future. She was very understanding of the delay. In the meantime, having been so impressed, not only by her experience and professionalism, but by her warm, friendly demeanor, and lack of egotism, I contacted her for my own private project - a remodeling of my front garden. Even though this is a tiny project compared to the community one, she was happy to take it on. She went the extra mile by also providing a design of my back garden (which I had expressed my concerns about) - which was very decent of her, even though I didn't end up needing it. I love her ideas and designs for the front, and I'm extremely excited to see the results. The project is due for completion in Spring 2017. In the meantime, Ana's maintained contact and kept me abreast of materials/plants as she continues to source. I'd highly recommend her.”
