Henrietta Murray-Wicks Studio is a young, creative and ambitious garden and landscape design practice, making elegant exterior spaces in the UK and abroad. A small award winning studio based in Hampshire, we work to craft gardens with our clients that create soft and harmonious visual extensions to their home. Inspired by the delicate use of natural materials, we look to use plants and form arrangements of space that will leave a lasting impression. Henrietta trained in garden design and horticulture prior to working for leading UK garden designers Andy Sturgeon and Luciano Giubbilei, where she amassed a wealth of design experience. Through this time she designed, detailed and project managed both residential and commercial landscape projects of differing scales and contrasting design styles in the UK, Europe and the USA. Notably this included designing and overseeing the installation of the new prestigious courtyard terrace at the Rosewood Hotel, London in 2014. Henrietta's experience also includes involvement with numerous gold medal winning show gardens and was an integral part of the design team for Luciano Giubbilei's 2014 RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden, which won the highly sought after accolade of 'Best in Show'. Since 2015 she has been working collaboratively with different designers on commissions in the UK and abroad, creating exterior spaces that reflect her design ethos of combining naturalism and modernity. She takes a balanced and considered approach to all of her gardens, listening to the requirements of the client, the building and the setting to find creative design and planting solutions for even the most neglected of spaces.
