About Us

Robert Hughes Studio is an award-winning garden design practice located in Knutsford, Cheshire. I offer my services to both residential and commercial clients and specialise in contemporary garden makeovers. I’m heavily influenced by modern architecture and natural landscapes so given free reign you’ll likely see elements of both make an appearance in my work! I pride myself on creating high quality, intricate and striking gardens which are recognised for their bold lines, the clever use of colour, textures, materials and beautiful planting. Typical Job Cost

£40,000 - £300,000

Design fees for structural plans start at £2000. Each project can vary in size and complexity which will determine the design and installation costs, after a free initial consultation I shall supply you with a quote for the supply of a garden design and I will be able to give you an idea of what you can expect to spend on the build. Due to the cost of creating a bespoke garden I am unable to work with budgets less than £15000 - £20000 for small gardens

Commented: Planted roof?The green roof is made up of Sedum, they come in crates which can be placed onto the roof membrane so the drainage would be at the back using a gutter like any normal flat roof.
