We are a thriving boutique studio creating premium gardens for our clients. Based in Petersfield and London we work across Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and London.
Our philosophy is pretty straightforward: we design gardens that can be enjoyed all year round and are built to last; we consider the interior and exterior architecture of your house as well as the surrounding landscape to create a design that is cohesive, harmonious and unified; we like to add that element of surprise that you weren't expecting; and finally, the devil is in the detail - it's those small bits of detailing that make our gardens really stand out.

Simon created an incredible garden design for us, consistent with our brief and vision but containing elements we would never have thought of ourselves. He documented the agreed design with great precision and detail, which made it easy for us to get a selection of comparable quotes from landscaping companies. He then helped us to oversee the build phase, working with the landscaping company to resolve issues and ensure the build exactly matched the design. Our garden has well and truly been transformed and we love spending time in it.

Quartet Architecture worked with Simon on an extensive basement project with a small, split-level garden that required creativity to turn it into a stunning garden - and that is exactly what Simon did. His ideas and vision turned the space into a wonderful feature of the living space that looked/opened out onto it. I contacted Simon as he was local to the area and I was keen to support local businesses. I was able to explain to him exactly what I wanted and the issues I had with my garden both back and front. Simon was able to do a site visit and submit a plan and recommendations for the work I needed. We worked with Simon over a period of 18 months. This was a complete garden redesign, including rebuild of a garage, establishing retaining walls, lighting, irrigation - the works. Simon came up with a design which met all our needs, creating areas of the garden to suit the different needs of the whole family, with children ranging from 8-17, and 2 parents! He also was a great help working with both builders and landscapers, he really made sure that we got what the design specified. We had never had a garden design before, but Simon is meticulous and lovely to work with, when we went out to tender for a contractor they were all really impressed with the detail and clarity of his work!

Simon is just great!
We have worked with him on a large landscaping project in Lewisham this spring. He was the designer of this 200m2 very complex multi - level garden which we built under his supervision. Always kept the workflow and the execution of the project smooth, providing quick and effective solutions for the numerous challenges inherent in such a complex project. Extremely professional designer with a great scope of understanding for both the design and the technical aspects of a landscape. He provided clear and easy to understand plans and technical drawings which made the job very easy to execute.
I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a really outstanding landscape design.

We asked Simon to design our garden when we moved into our new house and I had no idea what to do with our large garden. Simon noted all our preferences, how we live and how we want to use the garden. The design he came up with covered all that and more. In particular the fact that we have a 60's home and the garden style would have to reflect that. We've just completed the first hard landscaping section and it looks amazing.
