“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

“After three years of procrastination, I decided to landscape the entire yard...front, back and side. Found Perfect Landscaping on line. What could be better than perfect? They called back almost immediately, and within 10 days I had a landscape design that was beyond what I imagined possible. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional, and cleaned up after each day. The work continued without delay and now I have the best looking property in the neighborhood. Perfect was indeed perfect and far exceeded my expectations....new patio, built-in grill and the most natural looking waterfall I have ever seen. Look no further. You can't get better than Perfect. “We have used Landscape Concepts continuously since 2012 for landscape services, mowing and routine maintenance and clean up. They are really good at minimizing any disturbance of surrounding plants when they are working. They keep our property looking as good as it can be. Their crews are excellent: thorough, efficient, respectful and responsive. Their clean up after working is always really great. They have planted, transplanted, and removed trees, bushes and other plantings at my exact direction (I'm very hands-on). While the cost to guarantee their plantings is high (60% of the cost of the plant material) it is the industry standard and Dale honors his guarantee with no-cost replacement. They do excellent hard-scaping (stone walls, brick and paver patios, etc). They are usually pretty prompt, but some seasons are pretty busy, so give yourself some lead time if you have a hard deadline. Dale is very knowledgeable, responsive, accessible and easy to coordinate with. I find a lack of continuity with landscape architects on staff, so it is helpful for you to have an idea of what you like or want when it comes to designing a space. I always keep a project plan with detailed notes and make progress updates. Credit card payment is not accepted.”

“Jeff has done two jobs for me and they have been excellent! On the first one - backyard patio with a boulder/rock wall - he adapted without pause when I wanted a change to one of the elements. The front yard was done with an entire tractor-trailer of PA stone and turned out to be amazing. Priced reasonably with other estimates I got for the same work.”
