“We have had Exterra do two projects for our home. First was landscaping the front and side of the house. This involved stone work, plantings and a pergola. We were thrilled with beautiful design and the craftsmanship of installation. The plantings have thrived and after 10 years all the work remains intact. Two years ago, we came back to Pete to have a patio put on the back of the house. This was all brick work and Pete's design was great and worked perfect with what was existing. We had some settling on the patio and Exterra was out immediately to fix it and it is great. We love the work Pete has done with design and the guys doing the install were wonderful. We whole heartedly recommend Exterra designs.”

They service our monthly lawn service as well as, landscape design. We have had them create and install new plantings. They also fulfill our seasonal pot requests beautifully created by Katie. During the winter, Great Oaks installs our holiday light decorations. Overall, Great Oaks is our one stop for outside home beautification!”

“Likes just completed my 2nd project with them on my landscaping. The first one was my front which was completed in Sept. 2013 and since the job was professional done, I came back to work with them on my burm and backyard landscaping. My wife and I are very happy with the professional planning by Chad and his team. No issues with being on time, cleaning up and the follow-up. Chad even took care of some plants that did not survive the bad winter that we had. He gladly removed those plants and placed new ones and we even requested to have some of the plants moved in the bed and no issues with working with us. I would highly recommend the Likes team to assist you in planning out your landscape needs. Jeff & Laura”

“We renovated our home in Logan Square and the process absolutely destroyed our yard. We are so glad we found Kris and F Gomez to bring it back to life. First of all, we needed some serious grading. Not only was our ground not level, but we needed to build up the ground near the house by about six inches. We also needed to connect the sidewalk to the back deck in this same area and do it in a way that would drain water away from the house. F Gomez nailed it. They put in a drain system underground starting near our downspout that carries rain water to a planted hydrangea. Then they did the most precise paver work I've ever seen and laid sod in both the front and back yard. They also ripped out the concrete near our front steps and laid down new beautiful blue stone pavers (once again fixing a previous grading issue that caused water to puddle at our steps). Look at the before and after pics - they speak for themselves. Then consider that they did it all in less than three full days. Plus, Kris was easy to work with and the crew was punctual and friendly. To top it all off, I thought they were fairly priced. Don't hesitate. Just call Kris. She'll make it easy.”
