“Nathan and Josh helped us make the most creative and beautiful landscape using boulders to retain our hillside, trees, grasses and flowers. They were able to imagine and execute a difficult high retaining wall and steep steps. Their whole plan was never compromised because it was too much work or too difficult. Josh created a beautiful railing that just completes it all. Every day, all summer neighbors would stop and say that they loved it.”

“We have had the pleasure of working with Bruce Herbst on two projects. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants and had excellent ideas for us. He listened intently to us as we partnered to create a yard that we would enjoy. I have called him on more than one occasion to complement him on the plants he chose as well as the layout. We love our landscaping!! As spring rolls into summer, a variety of plants bloom and create new interest. When we have had questions (perhaps about the health of a particular plant), we know we can call Bruce and that he will get a timely and informative reply. Bruce is an expert at creating beautiful landscape design. I have recommended him to several friends over the years.”

“We hired Ecoscapes to excavate the site for a rain garden and native planting bed (350 square feet total), install the inlet with a speed bump on our driveway to divert water to it, and deliver the plants, compost, and mulch for our project. We did the planting work ourselves. Craig is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and has been very responsive to any questions we have had both before and after the project work was done. We had him come out for a consultation, and he shared his very helpful insight and creative ideas on other problem areas of our yard. The team that did the installation did great work. The work was done within a day, and the site was left clean.”

“We used Hillside Design for a major project involving both the front and back landscaping of our home in the spring of 2016. Nick (owner) and his crew were very professional, pleasant, and easy to work with. Additionally we found Nick to be an honest man with integrity who takes pride in his work. Our project involved two paver patios, a small sitting wall, major plantings, installing an arbor, grill station, bubbler rock, and landscaping lighting. The quality of his team's work on our project was very good and we are happy with the final outcome of our project. Overall, Hillside's work on the front and rear landscaping have transformed our home and we love it. Finally, once your project is done, you still will hear from Nick. The following spring after our project Nick called to check in on how the project fared through the winter and came out to correct a couple of minor issues to our satisfaction. I would strongly recommend getting a bid from Nick if you are considering a landscape project; I think you'll find his bid competitive and you'll be sold on him.”
