“We luckily found Urban Ecology through Nextdoor. We worked primarily with Farah and Suzee, although I can vouch that all three partners are knowledgeable, talented and a joy to work with. We had a very specific idea on how we wanted to terrace our slope (not something that designers like). They handled us with kid gloves! They were great listeners, took lots of notes and measurements, tested our rock solid soil, and in a short time, presented us with a full set of plans, plus a booklet with a mini plan, a list of all the plantings and a picture of each plant with its description and needs. Interestingly, almost all the plants were new to us, and so we were very excited to see what happens. We planted in October, when the heat subsided, not really knowing what we were going to end up with. Well, 6 months later, our slope is ablaze of color, our major request. Their price was reasonable, they responded to calls (emails) quickly, answered any questions we had. We were delighted!”
