“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

“I love the work done by Honeysucle Nursery & Design. I had them building a two level patio, outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The lower level of the patio was around the pool that was being built by someone else. The pool contractor turned out being a disappointment and was let go. Honeysuckle Nursery & Design jumped right in and built the pool that exceeded my expectations. They made certain that I received all of the finishes that I wanted even if it meant driving me around for half a day until I was satisfied. The worker were all very kind and thoughtful, even suggesting an extra step into the pool to make it easier for the dog to exit! I would definitely recommend them if you want the perfect job done within your perfect budget.”

“Continental Landscaping has provided all my annual landscaping maintenance such as mulching, trimming, etc over the past 10+ years. In addition, they have designed and installed all of my special projects which have included a back patio, numerous flower beds, several walkways and a terraced gravel sidewalk. In all instances, all employees of Continental have been extremely competent and skilled. They all have been very courteous and helpful in the design and execution of all of my special projects. They have been thoughtful in the scheduling of all work and prompt in meeting all schedule commitments. “We worked with Aaron Raines with Live Green Landscapes to build a 50' long dry stack bluestone wall with evergreen plantings to screen our house from our neighbor's driveway. After receiving multiple bids, Live Green was not the lowest (never go with the low bid) but was middle of the road. They did a phenomenal job with the construction as well as sending updated construction photos as they were completing the work while we were on vacation. The plantings they provided have flourished and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and appearance of the overall product. Aaron has always made himself accessible if we have questions and we would definitely highly recommend Live Green Landscaping to others.”

“Jeff and his team built our absolutely beautiful large two level patio with sitting walls and all the extras. We decided at the last minute to expand the patio and Jeff (owner) was happy to accommodate and do the work at a very reasonable price. We have since moved and will definitely use Scapes, Inc in the near future to build our new patio. Actually, the buyer of our former home said it was the patio that sealed the deal of buying our house over many other houses he had visited. When my husband and I talk about GREAT work and customer service we ALWAYS mention Scapes, Inc. Jeff and his team are excellent.”

“Not nearly enough space to write a well deserved review. I'll try, in as few words as possible to describe my association with the company and their leaders. Integrity....trustworthy, upfront and honest brokers. The construction manager visited the site, took his time, sat at the kitchen table and recommended tips and ideas for major lawn and landscape services. I received an estimate in the mail within 3 days. I obtained 3 additional estimates from local companies. Scenic's pricing is fair and reasonable and within budget. The estimate included many items the others did not. It is a breath of fresh air dealing with this company and I have recommended them to all of my friends at church.”

“We hired Absolute to tear out a DIY retaining wall and install terraces to take care of a difficult slope in our back yard. They did a wonderful job...really solid, level, re-used most of the stone from the previous wall, and it looked beautiful. They were also friendly and professional. We were very pleased with their work, and it was reasonable...wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.”
