“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“Joe Fischer is professional, courteous, timely, fairly-priced, and very creative. We asked him about a patio and deck system we wanted but about the design of which we only had a vague idea. Joe created a masterpiece for us. Since that job, in 2007, we have had him design a side deck, a raised garden bed, and a fenced-in area.”

“Our experience with Old Farms was outstanding. They are meticulous in their approach and take great pride in their work. We installed front walkways and new trees/shrubs and as work was about to start, asked Bruce if he could help us to design a backyard landscape to fit with a pool that we had decided to put in. Bruce and his team worked with us to modify the project on the fly - doubling the scope of the work and the time needed. For most firms, this would have been a problem but Bruce is a true professional and his team is exceptional. The design was beautiful and the work was beyond our expectations. Each day we'd throw a curve at Bruce and he'd listen and advise and find ways to make it work. We've hired more than a dozen contractors at our home in Northern CT over the years and honestly, this is the nicest most capable group of people we have ever worked with.”

“Glenn is an amazing craftsmen! He is a true professional and knows his craft well. He is very flexible and extremely easy to work with. Glenn and his crew truly care about the job they do and it shows from the initial consultation, through all of the work. We were so pleased at the end that we gave him extra money because we felt he underbid the job. We can't recommend Designscapes enough!!!”

They kept us informed regarding progress, were flexible, and the quote the provided was adhered to. I would absolutely recommend them for landscaping work!”
