“2018 my husband and I wanted to extend the back of our semi and ‘merge’ the lounge and small kitchen to create a large family room. We also wanted to convert our integral garage into a large utility room with separate ‘wet room’. We had our plans drawn up and ‘Granada’ were recommended to us. Dave Smith carries out a site visit, he looked at our plans and also made some recommendations. We received our quote for all the work to be carried out. We were so impressed by the prompt response that we didn’t bother contacting any other building companies. 2018 was a very difficult and emotional year for my husband and I, from the start of the job in April to its completion beginning of November, we had 3 sudden deaths in the family, 1 of the deaths was a young child, and also my husband retired after working 50 years. The reason I want to include this information is to assure any future customers of ‘Granada’ that during these very difficult and emotional times, the lads from ‘Granada’ were brilliant, their care and compassion was excellent. The only good thing for us to end 2018 was the fact that the high quality of work and attention to detail by ‘Granada’ ensured that we have a lovely home, after living in our home for 33 years we can look forward to being here for the rest of our lives.
