“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. “Carey was a delight to work with. She listened to my goals for my yard and created a long term plan for landscaping. The pictures are of phase one which is the front of the house. She found a water bowl that adds an architectural element and is lovely to look at in the rain. Installation was perfect and done in a timely manner. Can't wait to add to the project this spring.”

“Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“Laura and her Cultivar team did an outstanding job for us as we did a full outdoor renovation: new plants and beds, trees, replaced the lawn, added an irrigation and drainage system, patio and pergola install, deck work, stone walls and paths and outdoor lighting. We are thrilled with the results and continue to work with Cultivar for maintenance. Laura knows her stuff and is very approachable and easy to work with. “Flavin Architects has worked with Peter White and his team at Zen Associates on four significant projects, ranging from a small urban garden in Boston's South End to a pool and pool house on Boston's North Shore. In addition to their specialty in Asian influenced design, they are also versatile designers, able to work in the modern idiom as well. Their design-build capability is a great strength, and I HIghly recommend them.”

“Description Of Work: The Narrow Lane, through Ron Goode, it's owner/operator and his team, performed various services for us, including 3 new paver walkways with cobblestone lining them, a new driveway, new sod in the front, new side and back lawns, new plantings, new retaining walls, two tree removals, large overgrown shrub removals, planting of several new trees and other plants, as well as fertilizing, leaf removal/Spring cleanup and some general landscape maintenance. Comments: It went great! Our main design and construction work required every part of our yard to be torn up, excavated, or otherwise touched with a shovel, mini-excavator, or other tool/piece of machinery and Ron worked hard to ensure that the disruptions to my family were minimal. He also listened to each request, made recommendations based on our budget, worked hard to get the estimate within our budget, and has produced a product that every neighbor has complemented! We love how it all turned out and have had several people ask if it is a new house! I highly recommend The Narrow Lane for not only landscape design and construction, but also maintenance. Ron will work hard to ensure that he gives you exactly what you want in a budget you can be happy with.”
