“Lucas Carter of Definitive Fine Painting and his crew are excellent painters. They painted our small humble stucco house in August 2013. Prior to painting, Lucas and his crew washed the house with a pressure sprayer and hand brushes, scraped away all loose paint, patched all small holes and cracks. We had another person repair larger holes in the stucco prior to the painters' arrival. After the washed house was dry, they carefully covered our fences, plants, and even bare ground, with cloth tarps. First, they applied two coats of paint to the eaves with a sprayer, then applied two coats of paint to the walls using rollers. Window and door trim paint was applied with brushes and the brush strokes are perfect! The flat doors were painted with small rollers at our request. Doorknobs were removed before the doors were painted. They even painted the ugly mailbox slot cover: with a special undercoat, and then sprayed black. The screens in the crawlspace vents were sprayed with black paint, which made them less visible. They used the highest quality paint from Benjamin Moore: Exterior Aura paints. There were 4 colors in the design. After the painting was complete, Lucas walked around the house with us to be sure we were satisfied with the job, and he and his crew corrected all of the small changes we requested. After the work was completed, they washed all of our windows and put the window screens back in place. We couldn't be happier with the work! California Contractor's License: 851238. Class C33. There was only one small problem during the job: a small storm window fell and broke during the wash procedure. Lucas picked up the broken glass, took the storm window frame to a local glass shop, and had the glass replaced at his cost - like new!”
