Jonathan is a freelance professional photographer based in South-West London, and has been carrying out architectural and interior photography shoots for a variety of clients for several years. Jonathan is also a qualified Architect, he has over 15 years of experience working directly within the field of architecture, and continues to work in architectural practice to this day. Jonathan is someone who constantly works with design and production and therefore recognises creativity, aesthetics, proportion, scale, detail, composition and layout, and most importantly the use and quality of light. These innate skills and understanding naturally flow into his photography work. When presented with the challenge of capturing these combined elements in the best possible light and form, while closely observing elegant building structures, spaces and interiors - Jonathan is always eager to display these key visual components through the capturing of his final images. His professional photography experience combines architecture, interior, and furniture design images within the UK, while also making time for his own personal projects, including landscapes, nature and travel photography. His clients include Architects, Interior Designers, Property Developers, Contractors, Private Homeowners, as well as Community and Commercial premises. On show here is a small sample of his work. His photography extends back to a young age when he cherished his first camera at the age of nine. He continued to develop his interest in photography growing up, particularly focussed around buildings, and the built environment during his prolonged studies in architecture between 1996 - 2005. More recently in 2016 he completed the course - NCFE Award in Photography, which is a UK National recognised Council for Further Education. Since obtaining this qualification Jonathan has continued to develop his photography work in a professional capacity, and now carries out many different commissions and photo shoots in this area of work.
