“Jane created the most amazing shoal of fish to celebrate the opening of our new school. We wanted a piece of art that was bright, colourful and represented us as a school. Jane listened carefully to want we wanted and in collaboration, created individual fish to represent each child, increasing in size as they moved up the classes and each class was represented by the different colours of a rainbow. Jane used the huge space to great effect and with her team installed this amazing piece of art in the front foyer of the school. It represents us all swimming together, in the same direction, supporting one another, of course there is a little bit of a fun factor built in as the fixings, do allow the fish to be moved and changed. In addition each class also had a copy of their classes fish in terms of size and colour installed in their rooms too. Jane and her team used their skills to meet our needs and we were delighted with the end result. The shoal perfectly fitted within the huge space and provides a bright and colourful welcome.”

“Bought a custom made stainless steel window from Macmade. The window is better than I expected. I’m really pleased with it. Macmade did a great job. It took slightly longer to get than I expected but if I had ordered a standard Crittal window the lead time was 16 weeks and Macmade was able to get it to me within 12 weeks. All in all really pleased with the job.”

“I ordered a beautiful small, framed painting of a view over Haworth as a gift for my husband. I received an immediate response from Tessa when I emailed to enquire about it. It was exactly as it looked on the site and arrived promptly and very securely and carefully packaged. I was lucky enough to purchase this in a studio sale and we have a gorgeous original painting that was very reasonably priced. I am absolutely delighted with both the service I received and the quality of the painting and my husband was thrilled with his present!”

“Ben did a marvellous restoration job on a set of antique table legs (see photos) left to us by an elderly relative. The original table top was a large antique Cairoware brass tray,which simply rested on the legs, but given that this isn't the most stable arrangement when there are kids around, we asked him to make a recessed top for the table to match the legs, for the tray to sit in. He managed to source a lovely piece of timber, and colour-match it with the newly restored legs, so now it looks as though our table was designed that way. We now have a lovely family heirloom that we can actually use! Highly recommended.”
