“Our garden club hired General Masonry Inc.to replace a stone pillar that was leaning due to problems with the foundation. They took the pillar down, cleaned and re-used the stones, created a new foundation and rebuilt the pillar. It looks great. I was especially impressed with the company and how they worked with the village of Wilmette. Often, obtaining permits and follow up electrical work, which was the village's responsibility, takes time. General Masonry Inc. was on top of the communication among all the involved parties and our pillar had electricity within a few days of its completion. I highly recommend them for your next masonry project.”

“Hardscape was recommended by our landscaper to complete the job of final grading and seeding of our new lawn at our new house. The job was completed with higher than expectations. The crew that came to our home was wonderful. (Jaime, Luis, Miguel, Miguel and Anthony). They worked tirelessly on a very hot day. Professionalism and pride in their work was obvious. The grass has come in beautifully and we can't wait until Spring to continue the landscaping of our new home.”

“We are very pleased with our new concrete driveway poured in early May. We contacted Marcello too late last fall to pour but we had some serious crumbling problems. Once we accepted his proposal, he came out to patch our bad spots to get us through the winter - free of charge. His advice was very helpful as the job was somewhat complicated and included an overlay and stamping of the front porch. A few days after they poured the driveway, I pointed out to Marcello a joint between the driveway and a paved walkway that was not quite to our liking. He sent someone out right away to fix it to our satisfaction. Also, Barb in the office was extremely helpful. I would recommend this company for anyone needing a new concrete driveway.”

“Edgar and his crew replaced my driveway, front entrance, side entry and back yard slab of concrete. They installed a fire pit, seat wall, BBQ grill center, driveway, front entrance and basketball apron. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and commitment to making sure no detail was missed. This is my second time working with aztec and not my last. They use quality materials and ensure that my work is solid and will last me for many years. They had higher standards than the city of highland park when it came to grade and amount of backfill required. I Highly recommend them above their competitors as I see my neighbors use contractors that may do nice work but it does not stay that way.”
