The Hide, Bude, Cornwall Foulkes Jackson Fewings Ltd offers a comprehensive and individual service throughout Devon, Cornwall, Bristol and Somerset that encompasses the many aspects of structural engineering design. The practice engages in a range of projects in the domestic, agricultural, commercial and public sectors. The range of work encompassed in these sectors is highly diverse. In particular however we have developed substantial experience in domestic design work which typically involves new build property, extensions, loft conversions and external landscaping works such as retaining walls.

I have been working with FJF over the past 2 years and I find their service to be second to none. Their drawing packages and calculations are easy to follow and well laid out, their customer service is excellent, and I believe that their pricing is very reasonable. FJF are thorough and flexible in offering structural solutions to support the Architecture and Design ambitions of our clients. The design information produced is up to date and of a high standard so enabling an easier and accurate transition into construction information. I am an Architectural Technologist and have worked with Foulkes Jackson Fewings on numerous projects ranging from small domestic extensions to larger new build/refurbishment projects over a lengthy period of time. I have always found their work to be of excellent quality incorporating practical design solutions,the work being carried out at reasonable cost to my clients. All the staff are extremely friendly and approachable,and are always happy to deal with any queries which may arise on site.

A young but very knowledgeable and experienced team I would highly recommend. I've hired them for 2 different projects, both of which required major load bearing walls to be removed and associated calculations and drawings drawn up. Both jobs ran smoothly thanks to the detail and the extra effort they put in to ensuring all important factors were considered for building control and the contractors. Always happy to answer any questions and provide advice where needed, I won't be considering anyone else for any future project.

Shires Construction have work with Foulkes Jackson Fewings for over 10 years. Projects have ranged from incredible steel and glass individual homes to the simple alterations to clients properties. We have always without fail been impressed with there efficient and reliable service. Dealing with complex issues and the basic "nuts n bolts" of the construction industry.
