AT&S Artistic Tile & Stone
Marble Worktop Professionals in Los Altos, CA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 June 2013
“Cynthia and her team at Artistic Tile & Stone in San Carlos are fantastic. They have a wonderful eye for design and detail and carry an outstanding selection of field tile, glass tiles, mosaics, etc. What I really like about AT&S is their customer service. They really spend the time with you looking at your plans, making suggestions and helping fit your budget - a real value! They helped me with a kitchen and with a bathroom. I shopped several tile stores in the Bay Area and they are simply the best!”

“We have worked with JB Tile & Stone for around 10 years now. We feel that the level of professionalism that they provide makes our projects stand out. From the tile crews, to the slab installers, to the people behind the scenes, we always know that we are getting high quality. We can't thank them enough for the effort they put into our projects. We highly recommend anyone needing tile and/or granite to give JB Tile & Stone a call.”
Kerrock Countertops, Inc.

“Recently I updated my custom kitchen counters from tile to quartz. The crew from Kerrock were wonderful! They worked patiently with my while I came to decisions about removing the custom tile counters and backsplashes and made good recommendations about design details when changing to quartz. I used Cambria Windermere and I couldn't be happier with the result! Kerrock created a custom template for my 25.5' of counters. They also accomodated my wish to add counter eating/seating area. Quartz could handle the additional 'overhang' of material (for my specific job) without requiring metal lining support or bulky pieces from the cabinets to the counters. It's a really clean look maximizing the potential of my island. Please do consider using Kerrock. They are a family run company that has all of the tools and skills you need to get the best result in your kitchen or bathrooms.”

“Bay Stone Works provides great quality of work. They are one of very few specialists who work on Dekton stone. I needed a durable and beautiful stone for my outdoor kitchen. Robert, Raul and the crew have given me a competitive price, were responsive, on time and extremely diligent. Most importantly, their quality of work and attention to detail has been impressive. I would recommend them without any hesitation for any stone work project in your house.”

“My husband and I bought our granite and flooring from All Natural Stone for our new kitchen. All of the people working there were very professional, knowledable and polite, especially Lucilla. She helped with the design choices for the floor ( travertine) and assisted me in choosing the backsplash. The granite counters are beautiful and the floor is gorgeous. I would highly reccommend this store for anyone looking at granite or tile. They have the largest selection of slabs of any place we looked in the S.F. Bay area.”

“The selection is outstanding, and surpassed only by service. The showroom and warehouse have an amazing stock of samples and the professional staff has books, boards and iPads available for design concepts. These folks really know their stuff and are happy to answer nearly unlimited questions about style, color, durability, function, difference between A marble and B marble, etc. After searching through a myriad of tile and marble shops, I finally found Da Vinci and now use them exclusively for such services.”

Serra Tile & Stone, Inc.

“Serra Tile stands out from others by being so incredibly good at anything that is difficult. Accuracy is in every detail of their projects. Every person at Serra Tile & Stone is a true artisan. They are true professionals that lay out all of the stone BEFORE installing it, make suggestions, ask questions, include both clients and myself in the conversation to discuss if any design adjustments are needed, and then they install everything flawlessly. The owner, John, is an amazing person. He is very caring to not only customers, but also to his employees, colleagues, and his family. I admire how he has carved a niche in the tile and stone industry as being a go-to for all things unique while managing to be a wonderful father, grandfather, and husband in his family life. John has the ability to inspire people not only with the beautiful work his company creates, but also with his efforts in helping people and the community. His creativity and caring spirit are the essence of everything he chooses to do.”
Marble City Company

“Excellent experience, from pre-sale to installation. Of all the firms I requested bids from, Nicole (sales at Marble City Co.) was the most efficient, most patient, most responsive sales person. She turned around bids on 6 different countertop types the same day, followed up with nice, unobtrusive emails, and was clearer on the timing of installation (which was sooner) than 2 competitors. Even the MCC price came in less (for the exact same Cambria countertop and dimensions) than Granite Expo, the cheapo place with terrible service that people seem to think they'll find a bargain. When my huge island (108x38) nearly pushed us into a second slab, the design staff worked hard to offer some options, so we altered a couple measurements and--thankfully--kept the design to a single slab. MCC was also on the phone with me numerous times to address last-minute design questions I had about the changes. Their install guys were super nice, efficient and incredibly strong; they hauled both Cambria countertops up my building's exterior stairwell in one go, no sweat. The installation team was careful with cleaning and polishing after the set and glue, and respectful of the items in the home. Just a great experience overall, and I love the Cambria design (Aberdeen) because very few people or companies have chosen it. I'd certainly only use MCC in the future for any countertop needs. I'd highly recommend Marble City Co over any regional competitor (because I got bids from over half a dozen of them) if you're in the Northern California area.”
