Cheshire Granite Worktops is a locally run business based in Knutsford, Cheshire, founded by partners Darren Dronfield and Donna O'Keefe At Cheshire Granite Worktops we believe in a code of conduct based on honesty, trust and reliability. Whether the installation is large or small, Darren personally supervises and inspects all aspects of the work to ensure the quality and standard of craftsmanship is 100%. Donna oversees all communications from initial enquiry through to worktops being fitted, and takes great care and pride in advising customers on the best worktop choice for them, at a price to suit their budget. Whether its a chopping board or window sill, kitchen worktops or bathroom vanity, Cheshire Granite Worktops take great pride in all the work we do.

We have recently purchased worktops from Cheshire Granite Worktops and we are absolutely delighted with the finished result. Donna has been amazing right from the first time we spoke to her. We did a lot of research for our worktops as we wanted something quite specific. We wanted the calacata design, however not the standard look. We didn't want the veining to be just grey or too busy. Due to the size of our island we also needed a 3m by 1.3m slab, so not standard size. Donna was so good and went out of her way to find us exactly what we were looking for. She invited us into her cosy showroom and showed us a few options. Her prices were also very competitive. Donna asked us to revisit the showroom with our kitchen door colours to ensure that the worktop would match. This is very important as you may like a worktop but the colour tones may not compliment your kitchen cupboards. She was always happy to talk whenever we had a question, we had lots! The worktops arrived ahead of schedule and as our build was delayed Donna was very patient with us. When it came to fitting Darren did an fantastic job, we could tell he had a lot of experience and gave us some great advise and design tips. We were so happy with the attention to detail on our splashback, Darren was able to match through the veins so well. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cheshire Granite Worktops to friends and family. The worktop has certainly added the wow factor to our kitchen.

From start to finish Donna & Darren provided a 1st class service when replacing our kitchen worktops. Donna was really helpful with the design & colour matching and replied to any queries immediately. Once we had chosen the worktops the actual installation process was incredibly smooth and completed on time by Darren and the team. We are more than happy with the results and would recommend CGW to anyone looking for a high quality product which is competitively priced. Thanks again.

From start to finish the project run smoothly & efficiently - correspondence or any queries were handled swiftly by Donna. The installation from removing old worktops, installing sink to templating and fitting of new worktops ran like clockwork with everyone turning up when they said they would! Thanks Darren & Donna for a great job.

We recently had our kitchen worktop replaced by the team at CGW and I must say from start to finish Donna, Darren and the team were great. They provided excellent service, value for money and a quality installation. Would thoroughly recommend.

We ordered a quartz worktop from this excellent Company, really quick order turnaround, Donna was fabulously helpful, as I didn't have much of an idea of what to choose, she left me with two samples to choose from, the one we choose was fabulous, we have lots of light in the kitchen, a speckled white quartz worktop was ideal, the installation was done to a very high standard, can't recommend them enough. We could have done with more suppliers like them for the rest of the work in our house!

Arrived at the Knutsford Unit to find that it was closed phoned the company as stipulated on website ‘open’. The customer service agent advised me that she would contacted the lady and have her ring me back. Whilst I waited for her to call me back I decided to walk into Knutsford. The call never came! I made a further 3 phone calls and still no response. On return to collect my car I noticed the unit was now open so decided to call in. Big mistake. The woman was rude and unwelcoming informing me that she had a client booked in within the next 10 minutes. No offer of help. I mentioned that I had visited the previous week and she had given me some samples which I was returning in view of placing an order. She bluntly requested my details as if it was a big inconvenience to her. Not only was she rude to myself but my significant others too. Appalling service!! Well I have taken my business elsewhere and too stopped a friend who was looking to purchase from Not so professional Knutsford Grantite!!

Thank you for your comments, although it would have been preferable if you had emailed me directly or called me to discuss your upsetting experience. I am very shocked that you felt our service was so poor.

Unknown to yourself, I had been out of the office all morning, and had not checked my emails at all as I was at the Vets getting my dog treated as she has been very poorly with Hip Displacia. I knew I had to get back to the office for a pre-booked appointment so was rushing and stressed out not to miss it. This is when you called into the office and I did not know that you had been trying to get hold of me. I explained I did have a pre-booked appointment but I would spend time with you until they arrived. So we then spent about 20 minutes looking at new options back and forth from the factory to the office with your friend and yourself. You liked the Noble Supreme as it didn't have much of a vein but had a clean white base. At no point was I rude during this meeting, granted maybe it feeled a little rushed, as I was conscious of another customer arriving any minute. When my appointment turned up, I continued to offer advice and remember working out a quote for you on the Noble Supreme you had selected. At that point your friend just said "we are done here" and walked out without me having chance to say anything. I try my best with all customers and I think you have really misread the situation. I wish you well and can only apologise that I couldn't give you my full attention on that particular day.

Since installation, I have sung the praises of CGW to all and sundry, and everyone who has visited and been in the kitchen, including my electrician, plasterer and tiler, has commented extremely positively on the quality of the finished product and the care taken in producing a perfect finish. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to deal with the company and I would not hesitate to highly recommend the full package of services that are so professionally and effectively delivered. Having had a ridiculously high price quote for Caesarstone work surfaces from a well known national retailer, I was amazed at the much lower cost and excellent value for money offered by CGW for the same product available in a far wider range of colour choices. I also benefited from the local knowledge and working partnership the company has with very dependable and skilled work people. The complicated route towards full installation was a doddle and the icing on the cake was the supply of two at cost price 'window sills' in the same material to complete the tailored look - cool!! I am really thrilled with the product and would like to thank CGW for all their TLC and good humour - it was a pleasure to work with them!

Excellent service from this friendly husband and wife team. I was expecting 'Knutsford prices' as they are based in the heart of Knutsford. However I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and I got a very good price from them and superb after care. They are not satisfied until everything is tip top and so I would recommend anyone needing their services to call Donna for a quote.

From start to finish Donna & Darren have given excellent customer service. Communication was spot on with Donna giving me as much time as I needed when discussing the process. I chose the granite myself visiting 2 different suppliers, the first one wasn't quite right and Donna helped me to source exactly what I was looking for. The whole process from start to finish was excellent and stress free. I love my new worktops and I would highly recommend Cheshire Granite Worktops

Having searched the web for small local companies to supply and fit granite worktops for our new kitchen we had almost given up. Then we discovered CGW in Knutsford and Donna! Boy does she know her granites! Any question we had she could answer and she turned out to be right. The measure and fitting went to plan, no mess, no fuss and from first visit to completion took 3 weeks one of which was customer delay. One tip call in advance of visiting the premises to let them know you are on your way to avoid an abortive journey. A professional approach by a professional company whom I would have no hesitation in recommending.
