BI-FOLD DOOR FACTORY

Do not buy structurally bonded sliding doors from this company. The quality of the door and glass is poorly manufactured. From the start of receiving the door and glass, the glass supplied had mist/condensation inside the double panes. Requested a replacement glass door and the same thing happened. They reported they will send a third replacement and each time they kept pushing that they are still waiting for it. I have since emailed again for an update but have not heard back from them. Therefore, I will not recommend this company. It seems that there is no quality check done on the final product before sending it out to customers. I am now left with a defected structurally bonded sliding patio door. AVOID this company. Aug 2025. It has been a few months now. I am still waiting for a replacement door. Company cannot seem to source the glass for the door. Is this possible, they are a window company as well. Therefore, still would not recommend this company for quality doors or windows. They have also been ignoring my emails now.

We had our doors and windows fitted sometime ago, still got outstanding snag items. We had bifold doors adapted, waiting months for the works and eventually the installation was carried out and they installed something completely different to what we agreed. Paid for up front total mistake. Now we are not receiving a reply from our communications.

I always use this company. The work was done with care and Gabby and company did a great job! Highly recommend.

2 of the 3 windows supplied by Bifold Door Factory have major faults. Both skylight windows that they supplied have failed, with the seal coming free and becoming very visible in the large kitchen one and heavy moisture in the small bathroom skylight. Both have condensation between the double glazing and permanent fogging. I have contacted Bifold about this and they have refused to do anything regardless of the 10 year warranty as they say that because the property has been sold it has become void. There appears to be a clause (loophole) in their terms and conditions to avoid them paying out in such a case which reads that 'The contract is non transferable'. This seems to only be the case in with companies that are not registered with the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). Needless to say if you plan on selling your property I would recommend using a company who will stand by their work.

We looked around extensively for the best people to supply the best bifold doors, and Bi-fold Door Factory were not only the most competitive, but had the best product. We've been dreaming of a proper bifold door to open up onto our garden for years, and thus really wanted to get it right....luckily Dean and his team were fantastic - installing exactly what we wanted with a brilliant high level finish. What most impressed me was that even when our builders kept messing things up for them they managed to keep to their schedule and were happy to deal with other complications that arose along the way. All in all they were easily the most professional and easy-going part of our extensive renovations...I wish everyone we'd dealt with had been as good as them!

Our project was a contemporary styled, 5 bedroom new build with vast coverage of glass. Naturally we did extensive research into the multiple glazing options, and concluded that we'd go for Bi-Fold Door Factory's Cortizo range for these reasons: - BDF are fabricators with a sophisticated factory, so we were confident they could get the measurements spot on, and be able to adjust if necessary as opposed to ordering in the pre-assembled units from abroad. - Dean showed us some nearby similar scale completed projects with a high level finish. - The cortizo range offered slim 20mm sight lines and high quality mechanisms. They also could cater for our large measurements (nearly 3m by 3m) where other systems couldn't. - They offered a very competitive price. During the process, Bi-fold Door Factory carried out several surveys of the openings to check and double check every measurement. They also dealt with complicated specifications regarding glass type, and swiftly remedied any units that needed adjusting. On the whole we were very pleased with the service and final product provided by Bi-fold Door Factory and would highly recommend.

I am very happy with my Schueco bifolds, very good quality and easy to open and close. The profile is quite small compared to other makes I have seen.

The bifold doors were the icing on the cake for our extension and everyone complements how great they look - We are very pleased with the outcome and can only thank Dean and the professionals that installed the doors on their outstanding work and ability to meet our tight deadlines. After shopping around for several weeks, we decided that the Bifold Door Factory offered the best service, product and price. We had a new back door, bifold door, bifold window and several windows installed. They all look fantastic and the build quality was exceptional. They were able to accommodate the delays we had with our builders without impacting on finish date. Everyone from sales to fitting were professional and courteous. Happy to have the months of research pay off!
