“We wanted to add some windows high up on a very long non-load-bearing wall. The ceiling is vaulted so we made the assumption that all the roof trusses were raised, but unfortunately the bottom of the outside truss was flat and intersected exactly where we wanted the windows. We had to get plans from a structural engineer to cut and support the roof truss, then Harison and his team tarped the side of the house, put up scaffolding, pulled all the siding and plywood and had to frame posts and headers to the engineer's spec. It was a lot bigger job than we originally hoped, but Harison was always really responsive and handled the engineer's signoff for us before closing everything up exactly as it was before. The new windows look great and we couldn't be happier with them. Now I just need to finish my trim and baseboards!”
