It is nice to see a wall like this in a modern setting,we are more used to putting them into traditional spaces. Thanks for the idea.

I think it's a fab idea Laura. A real wow factor adding unique personality to your home. It depends very much on the style of the bathroom and other finishes or colours present but I think it would be best to look at getting a custom piece made for the space. Also dependent on style but I would have the working of the basin on show below the unit. Embrace it as part of the design. I personally love copper or wood which I think may work well here :) Best of luck.

nasmijati, yes good point, the concept is to have the glazing on view from a secure garden for the home owners eyes only, from the other side this barn looks like a normal barn. We are considering ‘intelligence glass’ which switches from frosted to clear at the touch of a button. Most gardens are in darkness at night with the views from the house looking out over them. So we’re thinking wouldn’t this design be a great focal point illuminated at the end of the garden perhaps.

Sliders all the way. My sister has had them installed in her kitchen - 3 panes filling the whole of the back of the house and it looks amazing. She has gone for a very modern country look so clean lines, shaker doors, very light and airy. Here’s a view with one door slid open, please excuse the garden as that’s next on the list once lockdown over!

Partition glass wall

Looking for a partition wall between the kicthen/dining room and living room (see plan with purple drawing). The kitchen/dining room is south facing with large windows/doors, so ideally we want the light from the dining room into the living room. We however want to divide the two rooms while also let in as much light as possible. We looked at a brass partition glass wall something similar to the photo attached. Love the arches integrated. The wall will be approx 4-5m x 2.2m high. We would like it to be on the cheaper side, cost wise. Anyone who can make these in Hertfordshire, UK? Any thoughts on this?
