This is a bespoke unit, designed by S+T and built onsite by our joiners and is therefore attached to the wall. I hope that helps.

You can use side panels or a deck/surround to create what is, in effect, a free standing bath that would work well aesthetically and, optionally, as part of a wetroom-style bathroom. Deep soaking tubs are especially effective for such projects; they have smaller footprint, which affords more room in the shower area, but their greater depth makes them exceptionally comfortable.

Integrated would certainly support a sleek modern feel, make the most of limited space and avoid gaps that are awkward to keep clean. Unlike built-in fridges which need more space for the hinged door which conceals them, I think that built-in ovens are not necessarily smaller than freestanding for the same overall width. For instance, standard Smeg 600 wide built-in ovens have the same 70L net capacity as their 600 wide freestanding ones. You can get wider built-in ovens if you want to sacrifice storage space.

Plan B? TV too high - solving TV neck ache We have been installing TVs above fireplaces for the past 15 years. Our recommendation is that you should leave at 50-100cm clearance from the top of the fireplace to the bottom of the TV. I am assuming that the black cover above the fireplace does a good job of stopping the heat rising? However, a protruding mantelpiece to further deflect/minimise the effect of heat thermals would help.
