I'm lost! Please help with my kitchen.
Comments (544)Hello Amanda, : )) Do you mean in the kitchen? Yes a nice idea. I like flat plate too, but really plain. Well the best way to describe how I feel about certain alterations is to tell you about someone I knew who "did up" her flat to such a degree that she literally took away all that was characterful about it.. Sometimes it's best to leave things as their patina develops over time and results in something quite special. Restoration is one thing but you can also restore the life out of something and thus diminish in certain contexts the value- and so it's good to know when to stop.. So yes, I'm firmly in the camp suggesting leave them, but of course it's entirely your choice. : ))...See MoreGranite seams problem
Comments (68)Just to update the situation. John came today, he seems OK and honest to us. He said he suggested me chasing Kenny. He knows Kenny quite well that I need to get him to finish his job or refund my money. Tomorrow my husband will drop by his warehouse and I told him to tell Kenny if I don't hear from him. I will contact him through the lawyer. I also bought the stuffs you showed me from that site together with oil stain remover. I need Kenny to fix the part at the hob. He needs to remove that out and replace with the one that from the same slab or lighter tone. John also confirmed to me my granite is not sealed at all!!! Not weak seal but not seal and he told me Kenny knows this and it is his job to do....See MoreComment to win a Miele appliance worth £1,000!

So I would love my first dishwasher to be a Miele and maybe this would convince my partner that having a dishwasher is an improvement on washing dishes by hand....See MoreWhere can I get vinyl tiles that aren't wood or stone effect?
Comments (14)Amtico and Karndean are very hard wearing and resistant to water if laid properly. The easiest way to Compare it's durability and hard wearing properties is by looking at Supermarket or m&s flooring, which is very similar. In terms of the colour you have selected, I think it is very light especially for a high traffic area and prone to getting mucky. with Karndean and Amtico, I think you do get what you pay. There is also moduleo (I think it's what it the brand is called) which supply LVT nd they do effects other than wood; I've had no personal experience but have seen it around. Good Luck...See MoreDMX
