I see that a few people have already asked about that exact table - does anyone know where to find a similar one? Love the look and would love a point in the right direction from a product expert! Thanks!

Hi There! I believe I have answered this question before... but no worries... It is a table from Cisco Brothers with a custom "racetrack oval" top and custom Benjamin Moore high gloss paint color: Majestic Blue. Happy designing!

Hello Gabby, The Kardean finish you picked looks lovely. I would definitely stick with it. And if you really love the table, there is no reason not to keep it. I sometimes find it's better not to have your wood finishes so match matchy. It's good to see different tones, rather than similar ones that don't match. Having said that, there are stains that will help whiten the wood tone on your table, so it can be slightly paler and less orange. If so, this can be an option? Otherwise, you can consider adding a table runner to the table and dress it up with plants. A rug is also a great idea. I wouldn't worry too much about spillages. If you get a flat weave rug that isn't made of 100% wool, they tend to be pretty easy to clean nowadays. Below is a reference image. It's a round table (not a rectangle), but hopefully it is helpful.

So lovely that you wish to restore your grandads furniture. It’s amazing how good dark painted furniture can look. I think painting it charcoal grey, black, navy or dark green will fit in nicely. Painting furniture isn’t difficult, but it must be done properly. So a light sand, wipe down and then paint on 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of top coat such as eggshell or Satinwood. It is crucial to let each layer dry thoroughly and cure before applying the next. Best to leave days between coats rather than hours. You could add a seat pad to the chair. Dunelm sell them or Etsy have a huge range. Here’s some painted furniture to give you an idea of how it could look.
