POLL: Would you ever let your partner design your home?
Comments (39)My husband trusts me and prefers I make all those decisions. That said I always ask his opinion on large pieces. If I left it all to him he would lose interest before finishing! Design is so not his thing. But then I'm not interested in documentaries on outer space or Lego.... Best we stick to our own interests I think! ;)...See MorePOLL: Do you change your home according to the seasons?
Comments (44)Yes, absolutely. It's great to add small changes in your home, even if it is changing the flowers in the room to daffodils for the spring time or putting a pop of colour with cushions for the sofa, a small change can make the difference in any room. Decorating for the seasonal festive i.e. Halloween or Christmas is also a big part of showing your unique style in how you decorate....See MoreHow often do you change your dishcloth?
Comments (30)At least daily here. I changed to washable cloths (flannels) specifically so I could do this: it's very expensive to change a store bought cloth every day. I also change the tea towel and kitchen hand towel daily. They absolutely need it as well. The tea towel gets soaked several times/day. It does depend on how large the household is and how much time is spent in the house though. If it's a single person or couple who both work outside the home, eat dinner out a lot etc, a weekly change is no big deal. I'm at home every day, with friends and family passing through all the time, so the kitchen is very heavily used....See MoreWhat are you most keen to change about your house?
Comments (6)What I would really like to do is the hall stairs and landing. Grim carpet, chipped paint, grubby walls. Been putting it off for years. Planned for three years ago, but breast cancer took priority, then a burst boiler, then a fractured pelvis, last year it was a new kitchen necessitated by having to move boiler, then back surgery, and finally, it was all booked for this May, then Covid 19 and lock-down came along! Had wallpaper and new light fitting in spare room for a year now. Patience.........See Moredefever
