Identify damask wallpaper design

We are renovating a Georgian property in Devon, and beneath a stud wall we found a damask wallpaper design (attached). The wallpaper needs replacing and we would like to use this design. However, we can't find it! We've tried Zoffany, Cole & Son, Little Greene and others, but they say they don't have it. Has anyone seen this design? Any clues about whose it might be?

It looks like some Italian Damask papers I have seen, try Leekes of Llantrisant.

Which period are you trying to emulate? The damask isn't to my personal taste although that's neither here nor there but I do think the scale may be a bit large and heavy for the room. Have you considered trellis/quatrefoil/geometric/chinoiserie etc style papers? They are period papers but popular Atm. Or just consider something with texture,mie grasscloth effect. You could keep the walls fairly light or neutral in colour and add colour for accessories, art etc. Or if you're going for a velvet Chesterfield consider teal, burnt orange, green, blue etc. You could also add more classical/period accessories ie urn or acorn style lamps, horses head etc (I have one I love from oka which was only £26!). I would choose the paint after the paper and the paper after the sofa!

Having looked at damask wallpapers in the photos on Houzz, on the whole if the curtains are a different colour to the wall then they are plain. If a different pattern is used in any soft furnishings then they are in the exact same colour as the wallpaper. I would think a stripe would go, as long as the background colour matches the wallpaper. However, it might be worth looking at some of the fabric and wallpaper designers websites or in a soft furnishings shop to see how they treat different patterns within the same colour collection. I suspect it will be to do with scale, ie put a small pattern against a big pattern. Another option is to use a sumptuous plain, such as a moiré and have a contrasting colour leading edge on the curtains which you then pick up in patterned cushions.

Thanks Minnie, I will look for a couple of darker accessories to bring the room together. We loved the grape wallpaper and had it until recently, as we fancied a change. We haven't had the grey wallpaper long unfortunately, but it just doesn't look right so decided to have a redo. (This is the only chance I've got though so anxious to get it right!) We are upgrading to a bigger TV, but it's still in the box at the moment! Hopefully the electrician who will hang it on the wall will be able to fit us in this week or next, and then I can decide what to put above the sideboard and piano. I know the TV will be wider than the TV cabinet but unfortunately we can't change any of the furniture. I'm hoping to find a way to make it look more balanced maybe by placing something on either side of the TV cabinet like plants and/or lanterns. Here's another photo of the wallpapers up on the wall - I'm maybe leaning towards the left one, as I like the textured look - might be longer lived than the patterns? I'm not sure.

Thanks guys - wallpaper is probably 60-100 years old, so likely to be English and from one of the older companies.

You would probably have to have it made for you, then, there are two companies in England who do this, they were on restoration programmes, and Kirstie..the wallpapers worked out about £400-600 per roll..
