Help has anyone got photos of char oak cabinets

I have chosen Polytec char oak for our new kitchen, the sample seemed quite even in texture, now the cabinets are going in and it looks like there is a lot of colour variation, having trouble finding examples using this material can anyone show me any completed cabinets thanks very worried at the moment!

Hi - there's a few examples if your look on google images...
- first person to speak with is your supplier - ie the people you bought from... They may have come across this before and will swap out any inconsistent doors ? Be polite but firm - you were expecting something like the sample - this is not the case - how are they going to rectify this amicably ?

We have the same type of panelling in our hall and it was oak the same as yours with an oak floor. It just started to feel quite dark and drab but we hesitated to to do anything for fear of messing it up. In the end we painted all the panelling in Farrows French grey, left the doors and floors wood and painted the sides of our staircase and the spindles in Farrows clunch but left the newel posts and the bannister rail as wood - looks like a different hallway - I have never regretted painting it

Has anyone used outdoor grade porcelain as a patio?

This is just my opinion about porcelain, some people don’t have the same opinion. The non slip factor is fabulous and you can walk barefoot on it in the rain and it’s steady underfloot. It is only the difficulty of cleaning R13 porcelain that is annoying. A lower grade like R11 is easier to clean. I’ve bought a jet washer so we shall see how that goes.
