Need help creating this front door

Ok so I want to create this set up I saw here with the sidelights and transom, so i had 3 different guys come in. 1 told me he wasnt sure what materials were used to create look, other 2 said they can make an aluminum store front frame, but said you cant attach a residential door to it. I dont know how to make this project work, as it seems all who have done these jobs are in Canada or on the West Coast...im in NY.

PLEASE HELP!!

ask the guys at Milano doors -- they make gorgeous doors like this, so might have advice on the larger idea. (need a much better photo though!!)

Hi Vkololgi We think a grey traditional door with narrow glazing bars would look great against your white rendering. It gives a slightly modern twist to the house without looking out of place and will let in lots of light. Good luck with your project and post some photos of the final result when all the work is done.

I think the render is a little clinical which is not giving a very true impression of the property and how the door he's suggesting will look.. that's one thing.. but saying that I still don't think it would look great. As mentioned above, when specifying for my clients, the first thing is budget and I also take into consideration the design inside.. after all this is the 'front', the 'entrance', the 'greeting' to your home. I would take into consideration how much light you need in the space, the colour you will have in the entrance and of course the overall style you want to achieve. Is it just that the white and brown don't seem to compliment each other.. or do you feel that door looks dated? What styles of doors do you like? - there's lots of inspiration on Houzz to get you started.

Here you go - some pics of a dark green (F&B Studio Green on our door; we also had stained glass made as the original was missing and had been replaced with that chicken wire security glass) - as you can see the colour works with lighter brick. Not sure it would if our house was all red brick, rather than just being trimmed with it. I'd imagine you want chrome rather than brass door furniture for a yellow door too...I'd recommend a vintage fox door knocker though, or something else ornate and fun!

Need help for shoe bench in space outside front door

Thanks all for your valuable suggestions. As per your advice, we are now thinking to look for a shoe storage for our narrow entryway. But also thinking to put a bench in that area with storage, won’t use for shoes, but don’t know for what.. so confused. Is the bench a good idea at all? It’s just a big space outside so looking for something to use this space and together increase look of our home.
