What colour do you paint your ceiling?
Comments (3)If the room has sloping ceilings (as in a loft room) I paint the same colour as the walls, as long as it's a 'white'. I have never used pure white ever (and we are on our sixth house) as to me it always looks grey in the corners. Pointing (F&B) is lovely and Dulux Timeless is a good more economical option....See MoreHELP NEEDED TWINS ROOM: Low Sloped Ceilings and Colors for Pine
Comments (6)I think you've had good advice. White as a base colour looks very good with pine in my opinion. Then you have endless options for accent colours depending on your children's tastes. You could let each of them choose their favourite colour and zone two areas with white the linking-theme. I have two girls close in age. I know one would definitely choose orange! And the other changes every few years: purple, green, blue, aqua. etc etc. In fact with white as a linking theme, any of these combinations work, and it's pretty easy to change cushions and plain duvet/pillow covers (e.g. from Dunelm) every so often to keep up with their views. White will definitely make it feel roomier and brighter....See Morewhat colour ceiling extractor
Comments (3)Hi Mark, This is a tricky one as the white one, on the one hand, would blend in nicely but, on the other, with time it may turn yellow. The black one would make more sense in terms of it complimenting the black hob and grease would not show as much as well as less risk of eventual discolouration. I would recommend the black one not only because of the above issues but also because of the fact that you're not trying to conceal the extractor - you're rather making it a ceiling feature. Hope this helps and best of luck! Natalia...See MorePlease help with colour scheme for vaulted ceiling bedroom (see video)
Comments (9)Hey Jonathan. Great view. I think your choice of colour depends on what you are going for and what else it has to work with- So the look will kind of depend on what else is going in room- for instance I could see a sawn wood floor, lots of natural linen soft furnishings and some brushed nickel accessories. I think this would go really well with a soft white. If your intention was to add some patterned fabric to the main room to continue the wallpaper theme, a beige carpet and an ornate bed then I think a stronger colour for the walls than the illustrated neutral would be better. Great name btw...See Morebarbieanne68
